I love this girl so much. Today we said our good byes. She became one of my first clients when I started in my new career. Chuy (her husband) gifted her a gift certificate to get her hair done summer of 2015 (for her birthday). When she sat in my chair we instantly connected. We had so much in common, music, upbringing and our dark humor! 😂 Her hair appointments, weren’t just a “hair appointments”. It was a safe place to let it all out. This is why I value not having two people in my suite at the same time. The 10 years I knew her went by too quick. I valued hearing her out. Her growth In her professional career as a special ed teacher to getting engaged and then married her best friend (Chuy).

Her last appointment with me was nine weeks ago. It was slightly different. A bit more emotional and a little longer. We valued each others support. Her last hug was a little longer and a little tighter. The “l love you” at the end of the appointment was felt different.

You will be missed, you will forever have a special place in my heart.
