Something I want to talk about- your lash lift & brow lamination.

This is my lash lift & brow lamination two weeks out. Yes the tint has faded off my brows (it’s suppose to, it’s not permanent- it’s semi permanent color for your brow hairs, with daily washing.. sometimes twice a day it will fade. Totally normal and i never promised the tint to last the full 8 weeks! It’s ok if it fades, I know we don’t want it to, but it’s normal I promise.

Also- check out my brow hairs.. In just two short weeks my brows hair grew tremendously, notice the different textures? Also normal!

Now if I want to keep my brows and lashes in great health, prolong my lamination processes to the full 6/8 weeks- I HAVE to keep the area (including skin) moisturized. I HAVE to be gentle with my brows and lashes, immediately after getting both wet after a shower or washing my face I HAVE to apply the conditioning oil. (Jojoba oil is best, make sure it’s all natural)

If I’m not following those teeeny tiny steps- you will damage your lashes and brows. Think of it as getting your hair bleached with no conditioner after 😟 sameeee process. It’s a non negotiable when it comes to laminations and lash lifts. I also can tell when you’re doing proper aftercare- it shows in your lash and brow health.

Other tips, DO NOT use a makeup wipe and go at your brows and lashes rubbing all crazy directions- sooo damaging after a chemical process such as lamination.

DO NOT get out of the shower and expect your brows to look perfectly laminated for 6 weeks without conditioning or brushing them while they are wet. They were just chemically processed- you have to take care of them ☺️

You can always use a lash and brow serum as part of your daily skin care routine to help all hair growth, you won’t regret that step and I highly recommend it to everyone! I use a lash serum daily in my lashes above ^ ☺️

1) lash fill maintenance, lash extensions are low maintenance MINUS showing up for your 2/3 week fill. Depending on how full you like your lashes, how great your home care is, depends on if you are a two week fill or three week fill girlie 🫶🏻

2) Washing your lash extensions ATLEAST every other day. It’s crucial, do not skip it. It’s quite literally the only at home care I ask you to do. Every lash artist out there knows whether you cleanse or not, please don’t lie and blame other factors for bad retention. I know exactly why your lashes aren’t lasting…. I know exactly why your eyes burn on occasion. It’s build up, it’s makeup, it’s deal skin, it’s oil. (Yes your natural lashes have pores that produce oil) Please wash them with a lash cleanser only, I have them to purchase at all times for only $15 bucks guys.

3) Keeping oily products, cotton rounds, oily makeup remover wipes, micellar water AWAY from your extensions. I can’t tell you how many times I know exactly when someone used a cotton round to “wash their makeup off” I can see the particles in your extensions.. lash bath only!

4) Being nice to your natural lashes. That means no picking! If you pick pull or pluck your extensions.. guess what’s coming out with it- your natural lash! Eeeek. A tip to help with feeling like you want to pick at your lashes, shorten your fill periods. Sometimes going three weeks allows your natural lashes to really grow out, it’s a healthy process, picking is not 🤨

5) Allowing me as a professional to do my job. If I know your natural lashes cannot hold a certain length, density or curl, I will be honest everytime and tell you the truth. My main focus is natural lash health. Even if you want the fullest lash extension, sometimes it’s just not possible with whatever your natural lashes are offering. I always do my best, but first and foremost I care more about my reputation, your natural lashes, and achieving the best set possible for your specific eye 😁
