I just realized I posted the wrong thing for my May recap, in addition to having not posted June’s recap and July is almost over. This has been the weirdest summer for myself personally, and I feel like I’ve got the worst brain fog because of it. But onward we go! Here’s June’s recap, a big up from May that was filled with so many things and most of them not being candles!

Always obsessed with how a good candle just elevates a space instantly. Even better when it smells good too!

I think we should do an ugly candle sale! And by sale, I mean free with $10+ purchase! I’ve got some candles that are completely fine and smell amazing, they just have yellowed in the sun or are a little lumpy or they’re in a discontinued jar . There’s no use in them just sitting on my shelf and taking up space, and they still smell good so I might as well pass them along to you all!

Melon Basil is back baby! It’s sweet, herbal and straight up summer. On a personal note, I’m taking my tracking numbers to the next level and tracking how many whole watermelons and peaches I eat this summer. Not that anyone cares, but I looooooove watermelon so I’ll share that at the end of the season too if you want! 😂

Melon Basil is back by popular demand, and this year we're introducing two new scents: Fresh Limoncello and Cucumber Matcha.

We would like to welcome both Velvet Whiskey Candle Co. and Rock Bottom Soap Company to our store here in the LAT. They both make beautiful products. You definitely need to stop in and try out the soaps, sprays, and lip balms. The candles are so aromatic. Their packaging and presentation are second to none. Best of all, they are a small business and are both Kentucky Proud businesses as their products are both sourced and made right here in Kentucky.

Vanilla Latte is back in stock and I don’t know about you, but I’ve been missing it. If you’re as addicted to coffee as I am, it’s the ✨perfect✨ scent actually. It just smells like rich, fresh roasted coffee beans and I can’t think of many things I love to smell more than that!

May was a lot. Two candle classes, a festival, a graduation, and the farmers market season starting back. While I’m thankful for so many fulfilling things happening, it’s not left much time for candle making. Luckily I built up a little stash in April to still fill orders. Let’s get back to busting it for June!
