Jesus on Sunday after dying 3 days ago…

The Ultimate Comeback 🙏🏽✝️💪🏽

Easter Sunday marks one of history’s greatest comebacks.
After enduring betrayal, brutal flogging, and crucifixion, Jesus was laid in a cold tomb sealed by a massive stone.
His followers faced despair on Friday and silence on Saturday. Yet on the third day, the women discovered the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. Angels declared the impossible: “He is not here; he has risen.” What appeared as total defeat became the foundation of hope, proving that even death could not hold him down.
Toxic Masculinity echoes this resurrection through raw mental toughness and God’s supernatural powers. The modern world teaches us that life is suffering and the mind quits long before the body does. We urge people to “callous the mind” by deliberately embracing discomfort - cold showers, brutal workouts, or pushing when every fiber screams to stop. The strength gained by refusing to quit is permanent. Jesus didn’t skip the pain, cave of the cross, and tomb — he entered it fully and emerged victorious.
This Easter, treat the holiday as more than tradition.
It is RESURRECTION SUNDAY! When life buries you in failure, loss, or exhaustion, remember the cross, the stone, and the rise. Schedule suffering, stay hard when quitting feels logical, and roll away your own obstacles.
The same power that conquered the grave lives in the decision to keep going. He is risen — and so can you.
Who’s gonna to carry the cross? You are!

His intestines were hanging out, His rib cage was visible on both sides, His beard was pulled out in chunks, the muscles and tissue around his spine were opened up and exposed, and worst of all, He was forced to be naked throughout the entire beating and by the end you couldn’t tell if He was male or female.
He then had to carry a 200-300 pound cross for some miles. Now imagine that weight on your shoulders when you are squatting in the gym and then imagine walking with it for miles on your back, up a hill, and with your body completely open and your intestines are legitimately hanging out of you while all your blood drains from your body.
To put Him on the cross, they used 7 inch nails, ones like you see with railroad tracks and put right through his wrists and both of feet piercing through every nerve in those areas shooting constant nerve pain throughout all of His Arms and feet. Hanging on a cross causes extreme suffocation and the only way to breathe is to pull yourself up and Jesus did this with thick nails in His wrists but worse was that His exposed, open back muscles and tissues would rub up against splintery wood every time He “went up for air” and He did that for 6 hours. Every breath and moment in this time was the most excruciating pain He or anyone in this world could ever feel and during this entire process, He Didn’t say a single word.
Finally, John 19:28-30 says “Jesus knew that His mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture, he said ‘I am thirsty.’ A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to His lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said ‘It is Finished!’ Then He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”
This is the true depiction of Jesus’ crucifixion. He is our Lord and Savior and suffered through this death because He loved you and I too much to see us separated from him for an eternity.
The severity of this depiction only proves how loved we really are and that Jesus is worth every bit of our praise and worship. All praise and Glory Be to GOD 🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽✝️

Lord,
On this quiet and holy Christmas Eve, we pause to breathe in the wonder of Your love and the gift of Jesus, born in humility and wrapped in grace.
As lights glow and hearts gather close, help us slow down enough to remember that You entered our world not with noise or power, but with tenderness and hope. Fill our homes with peace, our conversations with kindness, and our hearts with gratitude for Emmanuel, God with us.
May this night prepare us to receive You again, not just in celebration, but in obedience, trust, and joy.
