Shared this song with my girls this evening. The shooting yesterday was not far from us, today my son experienced a school lockdown as the community feared a gunman was at the school. Thank God it sounds like an an accident as of right now? The feelings I have right now are hard to put into words. My kids are asking questions I am finding hard to answer. Anyways, the point is I told my girls the one thing we have control of is ourselves and how we show up in this world. I shared with them this beautiful song and am hoping they feel slightly more in control then they did a few hours ago? Feeling very grateful today was a false alarm and sending my heart out to the many people who have been hurting recently.
