Welcome to the halfway point of my 30s! Take it by half, 17 years old and about to celebrate my first round of senior year (yes I did repeat senior year, but for only one semester)

Today marks the last day that Great Clips at Table Mesa in Southwest Boulder will be open. Effective tomorrow, the Great Clips on 28th and Arapahoe will be the only one in Boulder, CO. The closest locations to us would be 9 Mile at 287 and Arapahoe, Louisville at 95th and East South Boulder Rd, and Superior at Flatiron Crossing

Currently waiting for a class on a haircut called a Shullet (shag/mullet). To me, it looks like a longer version of the Bixie cut

Happy New Year everyone! Hope y'all made it home safe last night after the festivities. I stayed home last night and enjoyed some quality time with mom and the cats. Lizzie stayed at her dad's last night for his overnight (and hopefully got to spend some time with her cousins).

Also, the post where I said stay tuned for an announcement has been taken down due to the opportunity not working out. I am still working for Great Clips and currently applying for a 2nd job (overnight ideally) to help with the daily life.

My BIGGEST goal *this year* is to get back into working out, and I'm starting off the year with Vasa Fitness (the one by my place just opened a few days ago).

Guess who is in search of a haircut model? Me! Need to be able to tolerate a few different styles (ie Mullet (Joe dirt or mod mullet), low fade, medium fade, and high & tight for a technical portion of a job interview.

Its Dia de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead for those who don't understand spanish)! This day is traditionally celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, however other dates like Halloween and November 6 may be included in the celebration depending on the locality. This holiday is widely observed throughout Mexico as a way to celebrate loved ones who have passed.

The way they celebrate varies depending where it is celebrated, but traditionally it is celebrated with a decorated ofrenda (a home altar featuring photos of deceased loved ones) surrounded with calaveras (the beautifully decorated skulls) and marigold flowers (aka cempasúchil), favorite food and drinks of the departed, and visiting the graves of loved ones.
