Spring is coming. Hopefully, sooner than later. Here's your reminder that Day Light Savings Time is Sunday, March 10 at 2:00AM. The day's are getting longer. I don't know about you, but I get excited about longer daylight evenings.

Loyalty Recurring Program

Loyalty Recurring Program
Has it been a while since your last visit. You get to set your discount for each service based on your last visit for that service.

Waxing:
It's recommended to come in for a wax every 4 weeks (depending on hair growth and the location on the body) to get the follicles of the hair to scar over so those hairs start growing back thinner, softer, and eventually not at all! Keeping a schedule is beneficial, when it comes to waxing

Skincare:
It's recommended to come in for a facial every 4 weeks to help your skin maintain a healthy glow with exfoliation, extractions, masque and LED.

Lashes Lifts/Brow Lamination:
It's recommended to come in for you Lift or Lamination every 6 weeks. Your hairs go through a 12 week lift span, growing, dormant and shedding. As those new hairs grow in, they are in their original shape. Having this procedure done every 6 weeks keeps your lashes/brows get too "wonkie."

Wax/Skincare/Tint
less than 4 weeks = 20% off
4 to 6 weeks = 15% off
6 to 8 weeks = 10% off
after 8 weeks, back to regular price

Lashes Lifts/Brow Lamination
less than 6 weeks = 20% off
6 to 8 weeks = 15% off
8 to 10 weeks = 10% off
after 10 weeks, back to regular price

New Communication phone number / text number

Square has made it easier for you, as the client, and us as your technician, to get in touch with any question you may have. If you call the number, you'll leave a voicemail and we will get it and return your call or text you back. You can also text the number, if you prefer, and we still receive the message the same way we get the voicemail. This helps us to manage the client we have on the table and return ASAP.

This change helps all of us, the client and the technicians, to respond as quickly as possible, as all messages are visible to the technicians.

We would appreciate everyone using this number so that we have a consistent communication among all our clients.

New Hours:
Lauraly Wax Studio is offering evening hours on Thursday, as this may help clients find a better time that fits their needs. If this is successful and these Thursday evenings are filling up, we'll consider adding another evening.

Facials and K&K Skincare Products

I came up with the idea of Mini Facials, after the discussion of introducing new skincare, to several clients recently.

If you are like many clients, you look in the mirror and say "there is something going on with my skin...I need some help." This can be various things. Such as, aging, food allergies, ingredients in your current products, etc.

We already have the Basic Facial and the Ultimate Facial. Now, we are introducing the Mini Facial that will utilize K&K Skin Products.

You might be asking, what's the difference between each facial or what is K&K Skin Products. Here is a brief difference:

Basic Facial: 50 mins - $105
 Double Cleanse with Face Massage
 Product Exfoliation ***
o Extractions if needed
 Masque
o Ultra Sound
o Shoulder/Neck/Scalp massage
 Finishing products with sun block
***Add On Exfoliation - $15 Choice of Microdermabrasion/Nano Needling/Chemical Peel in exchange for the Product Exfoliation by Laurie only

UItimate Facial - 75 mins - $140
Everything in the Basic Facial, Plus:
 Repair Oil with Gua Sha (lymphatic drainage in the face and neck)
 LED – Red or Blue according to the skin’s needs – 20 mins
o While the Led is on the face, the hands will benefit from an exfoliation massage, rinsed, then sun-block is applied
 Finishing products with sun block
***Choice of Microdermabrasion/Nano Needling/Chemical Peel in exchange for the Product Exfoliation by Laurie only

Mini Facial - 25 mins - $55
Introduction of the K&K Skin Products.
 Cleanse
 Jojoba Bead scrub/masque
 Repair Serum
 Healing Hydration
 Zinc Oxide Sunblock

What is K&K Skin Products?
Amazing skincare that is backed by dermatologist. Utilizing great ingredients like Argan Oil and other oils that mimic our own natural oils. In addition, essential oils that vary, based on the product, peppermint, lavender, tea tree, and frankincense. During the Mini Facial, your technician will discuss each of the products, what's in them and how you benefit from them.

Now, you might say, "no way, I have oily skin, why would I want to add oil to my skin?" Speaking from experience, oil loves oil; oil attracts dirt, makeup, pollution from deep in your pores. These products ARE NOT pore clogging, nor will they make you feel like a grease pit. Our skin needs these ingredients to help with clean skin, dehydration, or sensitive skin. Even those that have acne, you will also benefit from this product. Tea tree and Lavender is amazing to kill bacteria in the skin and Frankincense helps with aging skin.

Ingredients: you most likely already know this, but when you look at the ingredients of anything, food, hair products, skin products, etc., the first 3 to 5 ingredients, are the most active. In most cases, the good stuff is at the bottom of the list, which that list could be 20+ ingredients. If that is the case, you are not getting much of the good stuff. You are most likely getting alcohol as your most active ingredient. And, I can't pronounce or know what each of those ingredients are, unless I look them up in my book or Google them. If you are someone that says, yes my skin is tight, dehydrated, dry or dull, or the list goes on....we will discuss your current products and how they may or may not be helping you. When looking at K&K Skin products, you can pronounce every ingredient and you will probably already know what that ingredient is.

These products are reasonably priced from $36 to $48. We have two other products, in this line, that will further help your skin with fine lines and pigmentation that are $99 and $120. These products will also be discussed, when you come in for your next appointment.

I'm very passionate about educating each and every client on what is beneficial for your skin. I'm not going to try and sell you something you don't want or need. But, I'll ask you about your regimen, what you are using, and how you like, hate, or love them, and why.
