There's no clear answer to this and everyone's hair is different. But, here are a few suggestions:

✨ IF your hair is midlength to long and healthy, 3-4 cuts per year should be enough. If you start to see dead ends sooner or use heat without a protectant, you probably need to increase that number.
✨ IF you're rocking a shorter cut or bob, your hair probably needs a trim about every 3-7 weeks.

About a month after your cut, ask yourself, "Is my hair visibly damaged?" If the answer is yes, let's get an appointment on the books.

The easiest way to keep your cut fresh and healthy is to schedule your next appointment 3-7 weeks out when you're in my chair. Make a note on your calendar, and then you don't even have to think about it!

Read the tips in the graphics. If you're new to coloring your hair or wanting to try something drastically different, I suggest moving 2-3 shades darker or lighter than your current color. Following this tip does two important things: 1) Keeps you from chair-shock (turning around to see a VERY drastic change), and 2) Keeps your hair healthy because less product and chemicals are always better than more. ✨
