Every professional sports team in the world runs on data.
Coaches know their players' performance metrics down to the finest detail. They use that information to make decisions, adjust strategy, and build toward a win.
And yet in an industry where owners are making six and seven figure decisions every single day, the metrics conversation is still an afterthought for most clinics.
Your numbers aren't just a report you look at when something feels off. They are your coaching staff. They tell you who is performing, which services are earning their place on the menu, where you are losing patients, and exactly where to focus your energy next.
The most successful practices I've worked with run on data the same way a winning team runs on stats. Not because they are finance experts. Because they made a decision to know their numbers and use them.
That is available to every clinic owner. It just requires treating your metrics like they matter as much as your treatment results.
💬 What is one metric you wish you understood better in your practice right now?

Your treatment menu is one of the most important financial documents in your practice, and many clinic owners I've worked with over the years build it once and never go back.
Every service you offer has a cost, a margin, a time allocation, and a strategic purpose. When those four things aren't aligned, your menu becomes a source of operational drag and margin pressure rather than a growth driver.
Swipe through for the five-step framework I use with consulting clients to audit a treatment menu and rebuild it around what actually supports profitability. And if you want a second set of eyes... Link in Bio.
Be humble. Be curious. Plan ahead.
That is the whole framework for navigating what is coming in this industry, and truly it's the framework for building anything that lasts.
The owners I watch struggle are rarely the ones who lack talent or drive. They're the ones who stopped being curious. Who assumed they had it figured out. Who made decisions based on where they are today without thinking about where they want to be in three years.
The conversations I have most often that are the hardest? With owners who want to do something today that should have been planned three years ago.
Start planning for three years from now. Today.

💬 What is the one decision you wish you had made earlier in your business?
05/15/2026
The regulatory landscape for medical aesthetic practices is more complex in 2026 than at any point in this industry's history.
State-level legislation is accelerating. Oversight requirements are tightening. New service categories like GLP-1 and peptides carry their own compliance obligations. And the clinics that treat compliance as an afterthought are increasingly the ones facing citations, liability, and disruption.
This carousel isn't meant to alarm you, but it is meant to inform you. Knowing where the rules are shifting is the first step to building a practice that can navigate them confidently.

"There is always another level and she helped us find it."
Some of our best client relationships start with a clinic or practice that is already doing well. Not because something is wrong. But, because the owner knows fine is not the finish line.
Aaron and Lucas at Youthful You Aesthetics are exactly that. Thank you for trusting us with your next level. 🤍
There is no multiple at $250K in year one.
Someone sat down with me last week. Month 13, doing $250K, and wanted to know what they could sell for.
The honest answer? You are nowhere near sellable yet. And asking that question right now is the wrong one.
My advice was one word. Time.
Build the thing first. The exit conversation comes later... and only to the owners who were patient enough to earn it.

These two are my whole reason.
Being a mom and building a business at the same time is not always graceful. But it's always worth it.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms building something while raising someone. 🤍
AI is one of the most useful tools available to clinic owners right now.
Scheduling, follow-up sequences, intake forms, reporting, marketing copy, appointment reminders - automate all of it. Get that time back.
But there is a line.
The consultation. The treatment room. The moment a patient is nervous about a procedure or emotional about how they look in the mirror. The follow-up call after something did not go the way they hoped.
That is not an automation opportunity. That is your entire value proposition.
The med spas that will win long-term are the ones that use AI to free up their team's time so their team can be more present in the moments that actually matter. Not the ones that automate their way out of the relationship entirely.
Use it smart. Protect what is irreplaceable: YOU.

Consistency is the strategy.
Not a personality trait. Not something you either have or you don't. A deliberate, repeatable choice that compounds over time exactly the way interest does in a bank account.
The founders and clinic owners I have watched build something genuinely lasting are not always the most talented people in the room. They are the most consistent. Consistent with their financials. Consistent with their patient follow-up. Consistent with showing up and doing the work even when the schedule is slow and the momentum feels flat.
That consistency is what creates the compounding effect. And the compounding effect is what separates a practice that grows from one that just survives.
