“I've been using this oil for a few weeks, and I must say that I love it. It's the perfect extra hydration that my skin needs. I have oily skin and I always thought that I needed less moisture –but that's totally wrong! Often your skin is oily because it lacks moisture. I've noticed a definite change in my skin since using this every night. I use it as the last step in my skincare routine.”

Where should you put your facial oil? (Spoiler alert: It’s not in your skincare fridge!)
Most facial oils – like the ones inside our Superfood Beauty Oil – are best stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Our founder Judy prefers to keep hers in her medicine cabinet — but anywhere out of sunlight and heat is the best way to preserve all the goodies inside your bottle.
Room temperature is key, as storing your oils somewhere too hot can degrade the oils and alter the formulation. Likewise, refrigerating facial oils or any other oil-based products is a big no-no. The cold temps can harden the oils and change their consistency, making them unusable.

You've got your highlighters and dewy foundations, but do you have a facial oil in your makeup routine?
Our Superfood Beauty Oil is our favorite way to give our skin that added boost for a luminous, glowing complexion before makeup. Just massage a few drops into your skin before applying your base makeup (this will also awaken the skin and get the blood flowing). You can also mix it with your foundation for a hydrated, dewy finish.
Either way, you'll be a glowing goddess 🌟

How to apply your Superfood Beauty Oil? From the ni***es up, of course!
Mist your face and décolletage and apply 6 drops or more in the palms of your hand. Inhale and gently massage until the golden goodness is absorbed into your skin.
The chest and neck are often a forgotten part of our skincare routine. This area of our skin tends to be thinner and, unfortunately, shows signs of aging sooner than we may want. Be sure to spend a little extra time on these delicate areas 💛

I’m often asked, why did you start Sacred Mama with a facial oil? And for me, it just made perfect sense. I believed in the power of watercress to transform my skin and knew that the best way to use this magical ingredient was as an oil.
Incorporating facial oils became such an integral part of my skincare routine beginning in my 30s, yet I couldn’t find a facial oil with watercress as an ingredient. Oils, as the main focus of my skincare regimen, were an absolute must. So, I decided to make the perfect facial oil myself. In addition to watercress, the healing of oils of h**p, dandelion, and calendula were also important to help soothe my rosacea and even my skin tone—so they had to make an appearance too.
And thus, our Superfood Beauty Oil was born! And it’s been helping transform countless people’s skin (including mine) ever since 😌

H**p seed oil is one of our favorite natural ingredients. It has the ideal combination of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that help to moisturize, heal, balance, and strengthen the skin. ✨ All without clogging your pores! No wonder it’s called “nature’s most perfectly balanced oil.”

When your lymph flows, your skin glows 🌀✨
The lymphatic system is one of the most important systems of the body. It consists of organs and tissues that eliminate toxins. When it comes to a healthy body, there are several things we can do to avoid bogging down the lymph.
Massage and movement are great ways to get the lymph flowing. Alternating between hot and cold showers is also a big winner. For skincare, avoid toxic chemicals that may be hiding in your products. Examples include phthalates, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate & Sodium Laureth Sulfate, synthetic colors, Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA), Petroleum Distillates, and parabens.
