Moments like these remind me why I do what I do đź’—đź’„
1. It’s too heavy for daytime lighting.
Thick foundation or overly sculpted features can look cakey in natural light. Bridesmaids should glow, not compete with the bride.
2. No attention to under-eyes or lower lashes.
Skipping lower-lash definition or under-eye brightening flattens the whole look. A subtle pop underneath opens the eyes beautifully on camera.
3. Using the same glam on everyone.
Cookie-cutter glam doesn’t work for diverse features or skin tones. Tailoring each look brings out the natural beauty of every bridesmaid.
4. Ignoring skin prep.
Makeup only looks as good as the base. Skipping skin prep leads to patchy wear and dull finish by the reception.
5. Overpowering lips or eyes.
Balance is key. Bridesmaid glam should be soft and polished, (think mauvey lips, light glow, and blended definition, not bold cut creases or red lips.)
