California took a major step toward protecting maternal and fetal health.

Gov. Gavin Newsom () signed the first law in the U.S. requiring prenatal vitamin manufacturers to test for and publicly disclose harmful heavy metals in their products. This legislation takes effect in 2027, and sets a precedent for stronger maternal health protections all over the nation.

It’s time to read labels and know what we are feeding our children and ourselves.
These are ingredients in the same product made for the US and made for the UK.
Tue healthier version is made for the UL because they wouldn’t purchase the product otherwise.

You can protect yourself by avoiding the Hateful Eight seed oils. At home, fry with stable fats like coconut oil or lard, which resist oxidation. When eating out, avoid deep-fried foods and ask for butter or olive oil. Better yet, support restaurants that avoid seed oils entirely. Some will proudly say so on their menus, thanks to the growing no-seed-oil movement. By understanding the toxic potential of seed oils, you can make informed choices to safeguard your health.

French fries don’t have to be toxic, but as long as seed oils are the default, they’re a risky indulgence.

Pass this on!!!

Don’t believe for one second that the Big Food & Chemical corporations of the world are banding together to save American’s health.

Let’s be clear: “Americans for Ingredient Transparency” was not created to help consumers. It was created to confuse them. When Big Food feels threatened by states demanding cleaner food, they form fake “grassroots” groups to fight back. We see you. 👀

We are not going to stand for this!

WE ARE KEEPING IT

NOT GOOD ENOUGH

BREAKING: Kellogg’s just announced they’ll be removing synthetic dyes from products like Froot Loops and Apple Jacks by the end of 2027.

WHY DOES THE US WAIT 2 years?!
AND

If Kellogg’s can make dye-free, safer cereal for Europe or Canada, there’s no clear reason Americans should continue to wait. We deserve the exact same formula here.

Did you know that……..

In Canada and Europe, Froot Loops are colored using natural juices (e.g., carrot, blueberry, watermelon) instead of synthetic dyes

has sold “safer ingredients” formulations overseas for nearly two decades

Back in 2015, Kellogg pledged to remove artificial colors and flavors by 2018—but still hasn’t fully complied for U.S. products

Over 85% of Kellogg’s U.S. cereal sales may now be dye-free, but well-known kids’ favorites like Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Rice Krispies, and Frosted Flakes still contain artificial dyes and BHT

The Texas Attorney General is currently investigating Kellogg for possible misleading claims, pointing out these ingredients exist in U.S. versions but have been removed

California is ALWAYS on the cutting dye of health❤️

A new California bill targets PFAS in cleaners and cookware, taking a bold step to protect public health.

Senate Bill 682 would ban the sale and distribution of products that contain intentionally added PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals,” which have been linked to cancer, reproductive harm and immune system disruption.

California’s proposed law could help set a new national standard, pushing companies to phase out PFAS in products across the country.

PFAS have no place in our kitchens, our classrooms or our bodies. With safer options already available, it’s time to phase out these forever chemicals for good. Repost from

Food & Food-Related Packaging
• Grease-resistant food wrappers: Microwave popcorn bags, pizza boxes, fast food wrappers, and takeout containers have contained PFAS to repel oil and grease

• Cosmetics & personal care: Lipstick, foundation, mascara, shampoo, nail polish—PFAS improve texture & longevity
Non‑stick cookware (e.g., Teflon pans): PFAS coatings resist heat and sticking
• Water- or stain-resistant fabrics: Found in rain jackets, furniture, backpacks, carpets
• Cleaning products: Some contain PFAS for grease-cutting or water resistance

• Dental floss & menstrual products: Used for glide properties; many conventional brands still include PFAS
• Smartwatch/fitness bands: A 2025 study found high PFHxA levels in nine out of 22 tested bands

Apparel, Textiles & Fibers
• Labels like Lululemon, Athleta, Gaiam, Old Navy, Vuori have tested positive for PFAS

*Brands like HexClad, Tefal/T‑fal, and traditional non-stick PFOA/Teflon cookware contain PFAS coatings

*Cosmetics from brands like Diego Dalla Palma, L’Anza, LH Cosmetics, and others have been found to contain PFAS

*Dental floss, especially PTFE-based Oral-B Glide (made from Gore‑Tex), shown to elevate PFAS levels in users .
*Bandages (e.g., Band-Aid, Curad, CVS, Walmart) tested positive for PFAS in adhesives and wound pads
