The Stepanyan Clinic
Botox, dermal fillers and all aesthetic needs!
The internet has officially discovered the cure for melasma... and apparently it’s a sticker. 🤨
Another day. Another skincare miracle claiming to solve a condition experts have been trying to manage for decades.
Let’s think about this for a second.
Melasma isn’t sitting on the surface of your skin waiting to be peeled off. It’s a complex pigment disorder influenced by hormones, genetics, UV exposure, visible light, inflammation, and heat.
That’s exactly why it’s so difficult to treat.
If a 30-second sticker could erase melasma, we wouldn’t need prescription medications, lasers, chemical peels, or strict sun protection.
The bigger problem with videos like these is that they convince people they’re one secret hack away from perfect skin.
They’re not.
There are treatments that can HELP.
There are treatments that can IMPROVE it.
There are treatments that can CONTROL it.
But be VERY skeptical of anyone claiming they’ve erased years of pigment in seconds.
Because if a skincare miracle sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 🫣
And if your parents already texted you this asking, “Is this real?” ... you’re definitely not alone. 😂
PDO Threads: Facts vs. Expectations
🔹 PDO stands for Polydioxanone
A synthetic absorbable suture material that has been used safely in surgery for decades before it was ever used in aesthetics.
🔹 PDO threads are NOT a facelift
They can provide a VERY temporary, subtle lifting effect in carefully selected patients, but they cannot replicate the results of a surgical facelift.
Now, before my colleagues who love threads come for me…
This opinion wasn’t formed from one bad outcome or a handful of patients.
It’s based on years of consultations and thousands of patient conversations. Time and time again, I hear the same thing:
“I tried threads once. I’d never do them again. It wasn’t worth it!”
Whether it’s the discomfort, the cost, the VERY short-lived results, or simply not achieving the outcome they were hoping for, the overwhelming majority of thread patients I meet are not rushing back for round two.
And let’s be honest…some of the aesthetic outcomes haven’t exactly helped the reputation of the procedure.
PDO threads are not magic.
They’re not a facelift.
They’re not a volume replacement.
They’re simply another tool in the toolbox.
And like every tool in aesthetics, success depends on choosing the right patient, the right indication, and the right provider.
So if you’re going to use this tool, make sure it’s in the hands of someone who understands facial anatomy, manages expectations appropriately, and knows when threads are the right answer…
and when they’re not (which is most of the time 🫣).
When a treatment sounds too good to be true, it’s worth asking a few more questions. 👀
One of the biggest problems in aesthetics right now is the gap between what patients are promised and what treatments can realistically deliver.
Non-surgical treatments can be incredible tools. They can improve skin quality, support collagen production, and create meaningful improvements over time.
But when marketing starts suggesting instant, dramatic transformations, expectations can quickly become disconnected from reality.
Good aesthetic medicine starts with honesty.
The goal isn’t to convince patients that every device can do everything.
The goal is matching the right treatment to the right concern and helping patients understand what results are actually achievable.
If a “non-surgical” before-and-after makes someone look like a completely different person... we need to have a conversation. 👀
Let’s talk about facial aging for a second.
Inflammation can accelerate collagen breakdown. Glycation can make skin less resilient over time. Poorly planned treatments can absolutely create imbalance.
But here’s where things get messy: social media has convinced people that every aging concern can be corrected with a syringe, a device, or a trendy “facial balancing” technique.
Real aesthetic medicine isn’t about chasing dramatic transformations.
It’s about respecting anatomy, preserving identity, and creating results that still look HUMAN.
The best work often goes unnoticed because nobody is trying to figure out what procedure you had done.
So when you’re evaluating before-and-afters, ask yourself: does this look like healthy rejuvenation... or a completely different face?
Your SPF is doing WAY more than preventing a sunburn. ☀️👀
One of the fastest ways to age skin is repeated UV exposure you don’t even think about. Driving. Walking the dog. Sitting by a window. Those small exposures add up over years and show up as pigmentation, collagen loss, texture changes, and uneven aging.
Here’s the part people forget: photoaging is cumulative. Your skin keeps the receipts.
That doesn’t mean you need to hide from the sun or cancel your beach days. Healthy skin isn’t about fear. It’s about protection. Daily SPF helps preserve collagen, maintain an even skin tone, and support long-term skin health while you go live your life.
So yes, enjoy the sunshine. Just TRY not to leave your SPF at home. 😎

BOTOX DOES NOT ALTER YOUR ORGASMS‼️‼️
A new day. A new myth. 🙄
Apparently, the latest internet expert is claiming that if your forehead can’t move, you somehow lose the ability to experience pleasure “down there.”
Let’s clear this up.
Botox or neuromodulators (any brand) works by temporarily relaxing specific muscles where it is injected. That’s it!
It is not traveling from your forehead to your pelvic floor. It is not shutting down your ability to experience pleasure. And it is certainly not stealing your or***ms.
If that were the case, we would have millions of very unhappy Botox patients walking around 😅
The science simply doesn’t support this claim.
What Botox CAN do is soften lines, relax muscles, improve mood, and help you stop looking angry when you’re actually having a great day.
What it CANNOT do is determine the quality of your s*x life.
As always, before taking medical advice from a podcast, influencer, or self-proclaimed expert with a microphone, ask yourself one simple question:
“Do they actually know what they’re talking about?”
Because confidence and a podcast setup do not equal expertise.
Carry on. Wrinkle-free and orgasm-capable (oftentimes with multiples 🙌).
