stopped by Couplet Coffee Santa Monica to try their strawberry matcha (can confirm, it’s delicious! tysm for having me!) then spent the rest of the afternoon getting a delicious tan.
One thing about me, I’m putting on some music and having a TIME 🤣🤣🤣 and that’s on Jasmine “keep a playlist” Yolas!

If you’re thinking about becoming a content creator part or full-time, I want you to read this before you start 👀 I think there’s a lot of fear around it and I want to be honest with y’all….
I get it.
Creating content isn’t always easy. It’s not just picking up a camera and waiting for opportunities to find you.
There are going to be days where: your views are lower than you expected, brands don’t respond, a pitch doesn’t work out, you start questioning if you’re actually making progress….
And that’s where resilience comes in.
Becoming a creator full time has been one of the biggest leaps I’ve taken, and while it’s been challenging, it’s also been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
I don’t share the hard parts to discourage anyone from trying.
I share them because if this is something you truly want to pursue, I want you to go into it knowing what it actually takes friend 🥹🫂
Dream big. But build the mindset to handle the journey.

I almost didn’t hit submit this year.
After applying year after year, it would’ve been easy to convince myself maybe it just wasn’t meant for me. But then I realized… I can’t let discouragement make the decision for me.
Beauty completely changed the trajectory of my life! What started as sharing my acne journey 6 years ago turned into a career I love so much that I quit my 9–5 to become a full-time beauty creator 🥹💫
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with brands I used to dream about, but what I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built together. Every DM, recommendation, and confidence boost reminds me why I started Jasmine Yolas in the first place.
I’d be honored to represent the creators building something meaningful especially smaller creators and Black women who deserve to see themselves reflected in this industry. Being in the UBC would literally be life changing and has been one of my goals for years!! I would love the opportunity to connect with other beauty boo’s, soak of all the knowledge from the UBC alumni, and start new relationships with some of my favorite beauty brands 🥹🧡

Although I’m no longer working a traditional 9-5, maintaining routines and getting out of the house is still really important to me. Come spend a slow Saturday with me in LA as I check out one of my favorite coffee shops Crèma , thrift at Goodwill Southern California , and browse World Market for snacks, a few gifts, and a little weekend inspiration.
I originally went to Goodwill looking for a jewelry bo and somehow left with six other thing chile!! 😭😂 Should I do a mini thrift haul?
