Did you grow up with the tradition of a family roast on Sunday night? If you're looking to revive this old-school tradition at your place, we've got some tips to help you roast like a rockstar and impress your family with a delicious meal.
Choose the right cut of meat: the best cuts of meat for roasting are usually the ones with a bit of fat and connective tissue, such as beef, lamb, and pork.
For beef, try our topside. For lamb, try leg, shoulder or rack. For pork, loin, shoulder, and belly cuts are great.
Preheat your oven: Preheat your oven to around 180-200°C for most roasts. It's important to preheat the oven to ensure an even cooking temperature.
Season well: Make sure to season your meat well with salt, pepper, and any other herbs or spices you like. A simple garlic and rosemary rub works well for most roasts.
Use a meat thermometer: Invest in a meat thermometer to ensure that your roast is cooked to perfection. For beef, aim for an internal temperature of around 55-60°C for medium-rare, and 60-65°C for medium. For lamb, aim for 60-65°C for medium-rare, and 70-75°C for well-done. For pork, aim for an internal temperature of 70-75°C.
Rest your meat: Allow your roast to rest for at least 10-15 minutes after removing it from the oven. This will allow the juices to redistribute, making for a more succulent and tender roast.
Side Note
A roast dinner is always better with some tasty sides. Roast potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrots and steamed greens such as broccoli or beans are perfect choices!

Curry-based meals are on high-rotation at our place, and it's easy to see why! They're versatile, flavourful, warming and a fantastic way to pack in those all-important veggies.
Here's a Simple Formula To Get You Started:
First, brown your protein of choice.
Add your favourite curry paste and stir until everything is coated. Next, pour in some creamy coconut milk/yoghurt, cream, or stock. Finally, add in your veggies and cook everything until they're just right. Serve it up with rice or noodles, a squeeze of lime and some scattered coriander and you're good to go!
And the best part? You can have this meal on the table in just 20 minutes! Curry in a hurry ✨👌🏻

These cooler days certainly have us reaching for something warm and comforting at our desks rather than our drink bottle or tall glass of water!
For a spicy ginger kick and immune-boosting antioxidant goodness - pop some fresh ginger & lemon in your mug for the ultimate warmer. If you have a sweet tooth some fresh mint and lemon will take care of that!

🍄Bring a little extra magic to your meal🍄
Mushrooms like button, shiitake, and swiss brown are delicious, versatile and pack a nutritional punch👊🏼
They're high in antioxidants and potassium, plus they're a great source of Vitamin D, making them a superfood you don't want to miss. Try mushrooms on toast for breaky, as a soup for lunch and stirred through a risotto or stir fry for dinner (maybe not all on the same day, but you get the idea..)
