Another product I’ve been testing out:

❌ Rosehip Jelly Face Cleanser: This is a gel cleanser that lathers on the mild to medium end. It doesn’t leave any residue on my skin, leaves my skin feeling clean, and not tight or stripped. So far, I like it. It’s a cleanser, so not more else to say. I do however really want to try their PHA foaming cleanser & PHA toner!

Products I am currently testing & loving so far… Here’s my brief opinions on each:

❌ Acne Control Gel: Been using this every night on my problem areas. In the morning, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the size of my acne, and some are even completely gone! The only complaint I have is that it leaves my skin very sticky, which I don’t mind much since I use retinol then moisturizer overtop, eliminating the stickiness.
⭕️ Retinol Complex Cream: This is a fairly lightweight cream that seems to absorb into the skin decently. Since it is a retinol, and I’ve been using a retinol consistently for several months, I can’t say I’ve noticed much of a difference yet; however, I do combine this over my CeraVe Acne Control Gel, so I am unsure if it’s this that is reducing my acne overnight or just the CeraVe or the combination of the 2. Basically, I want to own all their products! There’s so many more I want to try that it’s too long to list them all!
❌ Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturizer: This moisturizer is between light and medium heaviness. It absorbs quickly into the skin. Only thing I’ve noticed is that I seem to have to use a little more product than normal to cover my face & neck. No scent so it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. In the morning, I definitely feel like my skin is thoroughly hydrated. I plan to go purchase some more products to try by them really soon!
⭕️ Sorbet Skin Everyday Jelly Moisturizer: The consistency of the moisturizer is so lightweight, absorbs into the skin nicely, and is SO VERY hydrating! Plus, it’s OIL-FREE! A little product goes a VERY LONG WAY! No scent, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Really want to try their exfoliating tonic, overnight sleep mask & detox AHA stick next!

DO NOT, I will repeat it, DO NOT TRY THIS! There is SO MUCH alcohol in it that it will SEVERELY 🔥 BURN 🔥 your skin‼️

I only bought it to use as a spot treatment because my local Walgreens was out of Honest Beauty Clearing Night Serum. HUGE REGRET! Next time, I will go to another local Walgreens to get the Honest Beauty one for sure, even if I have to drive 30 minutes! (Another Walgreens isn’t that far but I totally would just to have a product I know actually works and doesn’t give me 3rd degree chemical burns on my face!)

Giving myself a little extra love than just my basic shower & skincare routine tonight 🛀🏼🪒🧴🧖🏼‍♀️💇🏼‍♀️💖

P.S. In my hair marinating is the Monat Super Moisture Masque (love love loveeeeee). I mixed the Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask & Caudalie Purifying Mask together for the concoction on my face. On my décolleté, chest & arms is Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask.

Yup… My skin acts up too… even for no reason at all…

Since I’m basically out of my favorite moisturizer, I planned to replace it. Unfortunately for me, they didn’t have any, so I figured I’d give this one a try. I know, I know... it’s for DRY skin. The thing is that it’s the same brand, made for sensitive skin, non-comedogenic, and fragrance free like the BarriAIR cream. I’ll get back to you on how I end up liking it.

I used the cleanser tonight & I LOVE IT ❤️ The directions say 2 pumps of cleanser, but that’s too much. 1 pump will do the job + some! I reallyyyyy recommend it for all skin types!

I recently discovered that I really enjoy using this night time moisturizer as an eye cream. It is Vitamin C based so it does wonders for brightening my under eye area where I have dark circles. The formula is heavy & is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it, even if you want to use it as a night time moisturizer a few times a week to give your skin some extra moisture & glow!

𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑫𝑼𝑪𝑻 𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾‼️

This is getting a BIG 👎🏼. Yes, I just bought this yesterday and have only used it once, but that was enough for me.

The 2️⃣ ingredient is denatured alcohol & boy is it obviously when you open the bottle and even more so when applying it. My skin can tolerate a lot when it comes to product strength, but this was even too much for me! IT STUNG MY FACE! Literally was burning & on 🔥!! I had to immediately rinse it off.

Since only using this 1️⃣ time, I cannot speak to whether or not this actually works & does what it says it does.

Understand me when I say this... There are A LOT of REALLY GOOD products out there that are NOT cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and free of the 10 other things “clean” products always list. So that is why I still gave this a try.

But it’s a NO for me! I will be returning this tomorrow.

I was a little overdue to try out some things I haven’t tried before, so these 2 were the selections this time!

🔸The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion

I won’t lie... I went to Ulta because I wanted TO 5% Retinoid in Squalene but they were out, so this had to suffice.

My favorite exfoliating serum!

This is such a gentle serum. With that being said, it still does a great job exfoliating the skin and minimizing the appearance of pores. Honestly, I would recommend it for even dry and sensitive skin types. Just always do a patch test first! 🙂

Key Ingredients:
• apple fruit extract
• glycolic acid
• vitamin B3
• witch hazel
• niacinamide

(This product is cruelty free & vegan.)

There is nothing better than looking in the mirror after your nightly skincare routine & seeing your skin so glowy & dewy! 😚

If you need a cheaper alternative to the Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid, here ya go! Obviously there isn’t salicylic acid in this one, but if you layer this over a salicylic serum, you’ve got the perfect dupe at half the cost or less! I love this product so much & it has truly been doing wonders for my skin in combination with using the Vitamin C Suspension! Because I have acne prone skin, my skin tends to not do so well with vitamin c products, but I’ve learned that in small doses, once a week or less, I can use this one! It has yet to break me out with the routine I have developed. The one negative I have noticed (and others have as well) is the weird “grainy” feeling when first applying. Instead of applying it alone, I mix a little more than a pea size with my moisturizer. It is still noticeable but it goes away within seconds of applying when you mix it. HEY, sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little for your skin, right? Accept the good with the bad??
