First day movement is key! The first 24 hours it is more about the movement to the lashes above all for ultimate retention. Avoid brushing, high wind, and moisture for full retention.

PH balance matters! Are you a strictly alkaline water drinker? This plays a part in your overall retention. Keep your body primed. What you ingest matters; medications and food! 🤍

A lot of brow lamination photos floating around online can be a bit deceiving to the first time brow client. Some are turned off because they believe this look is what they will get.

Keep in mind lamination is simply a perm of sorts. We are weakening those disulfide molecular bonds within the hair structure that cause the hair to want to be stubborn and grow in sometimes unmanageable ways.

By doing this the hair is free to move and conform into places of your desire, or you can simply just wear them dry and brush them into place for an even more natural look.

I wanted to share a little bit about my journey as a salon owner, nursing school student, and mom of two new teens!! It hasn’t been an easy road, but I’m so grateful for all the challenges I’ve faced.

When my ex-husband stopped paying child support, I knew I had to step up and be the sole provider for my family. That’s when I decided to really take the leap. I saw an opportunity to apply for a reward to go back to school to obtain a nursing degree. To perform more advanced treatments like Morpheus 8, IV therapy and more I needed to become an RN. So even tho my life was chaotic as my husband and I had just built a home in Porter Ranch and we were moved out to fix numerous repairs from Toll Brothers I decided to apply and I won!! It was a scary decision, but I knew it was the right one.

Running a business while also being a full-time student and mom has definitely had its ups and downs. There have been days where I feel like I’m juggling too much, but seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces and knowing that I’m providing for my family makes it all worth it!

Nursing school has been the toughest thing I’ve ever done; to me, even more challenging than Marine Corps boot camp! When I was in the Marines it was just me, but now I’m juggling so much! I have had to come to terms that I’m not doing the best in every field but to balance it all the best I can while I accomplish this goal!

I want to encourage all of you to never give up on your dreams. It may not be easy, but it’s always worth it in the end. Keep pushing forward and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something, and never think you’re too old for a chance to grow in your industry! People don’t believe my age, but if you ask me I’ll tell you! So if I can do it. You can too!!
