What’s in your commercial “organic” and “natural” lip balm?

Forget that it is made for the masses in a factory with acceptable amounts of bug parts, rat hair, etc.. or the heinous plastic it’s housed in to leak in your bloodstream, and then the heaps of plastic that takes roughly 500 years to decompose.

Let’s focus on a few of the questionable 12 usda approved ingredients below:

• Flavor (aroma): uh, but what is it? Natural/organic what? 🙄

• Beta-Sitosterol: found naturally in some foods (but not concentrated like this); may also cause diarrhea or erectlie dysfunction… 💩💦 🍆 why do you need this on your lips? For real tho.

• Anisyl Alcohol: this is used for hair care and perfume to add fragrance. 🤯

It’s sadly not the worst but they’re really getting under the organic wire with the usda imho. 💰 💰 💰
I wouldn’t use it even if I wasn’t making the best lip in the world. 😋
