In this video, I discuss a case involving a 78-year-old lady with a complex medical history, including a prior spinal fusion and decompression. She presents with severe back and leg pain, weakness, and incontinence due to significant spinal cord compression from a large disc herniation at the T12-L1 level. After reviewing her options, we decided on a minimally invasive endoscopic transforaminal microdiscectomy to address her symptoms while minimizing surgical risks.
