I could write about you for lifetimes and still never reach the depth of what I feel for you, Mr. A 🤍 But here is my attempt…

When I look at you, all I see is light in human form. It’s what drew me toward you from miles away. And walking beside you, I watch that same energy draw others toward you too. After all the time I’ve spent with the people closest to you, I know you’ve always been this way. Authentic. Selfless. Deeply kind. Honest. Funny AF. Charming. Lighthearted, yet profoundly deep. Persistent in not only your own pursuit of happiness, but others’ too. Driven… not just to do something with your life, but to live it with purpose and leave the world better because of it.

You taught me the truest form of gentle love. You allowed me to show up as my realest self and welcomed every part of me… the light and the dark. And through it all, you remained unwavering. Rooted in us. If loyalty was a person, it would be you.

The amount of similarities we share is almost eerie, yet somehow feels destined. You are my peace. My person. My best friend. I will never tire of you.

The bond between you and James is something very rare. The same gentle love you showed me is the same love you’ve poured into him, and it radiates from both of you. You show up… for everything. Big or small- to you, they are all big. You have instilled in him so many of the traits I love most within you, and it is one of the greatest honors of my life to raise him alongside you. Thank you for trusting me.

After all this time, I still don’t think I’ll ever get used to the fact that I get to do what I love every single day. Since I was 18 years old and decided I wanted to be a makeup artist, esthetician, educator, and a creative… now 15+ years later, I still look at this life with so much gratitude AND disbelief.

Throughout my journey in the beauty industry, there have been certain moments that reignited inspiration within me ~ and New York did that. 5 meetings with beauty brands, 2 podcasts sharing my experiences, and this time, alongside the love of my life, equally chasing his dreams…that we now get to share together.

What a blessing it is to be alive, and still creating. ❤️‍🔥
