Now Pitching… Daniel Ögren. One of Sweden’s currently most celebrated musicians, Daniel Ögren, releases his 10th studio album, ’Pine,’ on February 12th. Thanks to his solid musical background, he has established himself as one of the country’s most influential and versatile creators, both as an artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer for some of Sweden’s biggest names. He is one of the members of the two-time Swedish Grammi-award-winning band, Dina Ögon, who have made a significant mark in the past few years with their three albums and sold out tours. ’Pine’ will be released digitally and on vinyl (2xLP gatefold) on Playground Music.

Som medlem i Dina Ögon har Daniel varit med och format ett av de mest nyskapande banden inom modern svensk musik. Förutom sin centrala roll i det hyllade bandet Dina Ögon, är Daniel även högaktuell som producent för Broder Johns hyllade album ”Följ inte mig”.  Daniel har tidigare samarbetat musikaliskt med en rad välkända artister, inklusive Sven Wunder, Eva Dahlgren, Amason, Daniel Johnston, Anna von Hausswolff, Fatoumata Diawara, The Greys och Anna Järvinen. Hans solokarriär inleddes med albumet ”Laponia” (2011) som markerade starten på hans personliga musikaliska resa. Han har sedan dess släppt ett antal kritikerrosade album, däribland ”Laponia II” (2013), ”Brev till Kristinehamn” (2014), ”Mountains” (2015), ”Brev från Leksand” (2018), ”Fastingen-92” (2020) och ”Laponia III” (2022). Som multiinstrumentalist och producent har Daniel inte bara skapat banbrytande verk inom sitt eget solomaterial, utan också haft en avgörande roll i utvecklingen av många av Sveriges största artisters produktioner.
