I love feeling pretty and I love having a good makeup day - but I don’t often love being in photos. I have a lot of things to say about myself in photos that I won’t say here because they aren’t nice 😆but damn, I felt so beautiful and sassy. I looked great because I felt great. This is always my resounding cry about makeup and what it’s for, how to wear it, and how to feel confident in it. If you FEEL GOOD, you LOOK GOOD. Thank you everyone for gushing about my surreal day where I got to be both a loyal servant AND feel good in front of the camera 💄 says that she couldn’t look and feel good without me and the rest of her beauty team, so I say I wouldn’t even have been here without Lynette 🖤🤍❤️and now I’m crying AGAIN 🤣 will this ever end?! As a movie lover, and lover of all things Oscars since I was a child, practicing my craft with an Academy President has been unbelievable, but working and being with Lynette has been unimaginable. Lynette in general is a true delight: she is hardworking yet seemingly effortless, she is dedicated, passionate, and best of all - exceedingly genuine. She is a wealth of real talk and no nonsense advice while so fun to be around. I could not be more proud to help her feel beautiful AND like herself for her most important career - and life - moments. What a dream.

Every year the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosts a luncheon for the nominees. I have the pleasure of being the President’s makeup artist so I got to witness this magical event. Lynette’s speech was moving, celebratory, and heartfelt. It has been a deep joy watching films that I heard her compliment and discuss with each nominee.

My mom made me an Oscar lover at a young age. This was truly a milestone - and this is just the beginning!!😍🎨
