The Holidays are here so I've extended my hours!

Pancho is doing great everyone! His numbers are looking really good (PCV 44%). So good we're already starting the process of tapering him off his meds. So exciting! I couldn't have done it without your encouragement and love so thank you for that! I'm so grateful. I'm still in the process of raising money for his medical bills. I'm half way there. Shop hours have been extended for the holiday season. 9AM-6PM everyday except Sunday and Thursdays. Color is finally back on the menu starting Friday and giftcards are on sale TODAY at noon till Friday at noon. I'll also be hosting a records and art sale soon too so stay tuned for that. Pancho has IMHA and needs our help.

Last week Pancho woke up lethargic and without an appetite so I took him to his vet to get him checked out. He was diagnosed with IMHA after several tests and blood panels. IMHA, is an autoimmune disease in dogs in which the body attacks its own red blood cells.This can lead to very low red blood cell counts (anemia) that require multiple blood transfusions. It can also predispose dogs to forming blood clots, mostly in the lungs or in the brain.Treatment can require extended hospitalization, drugs that suppress the immune system, and often blood thinners. Some dogs do quite well with minimal treatment, however for many others the disease is unfortunately fatal. So far Pancho has been on the more stable side but his future is unpredictable as this disease can turn quickly. Helping those in need is a core value instilled in me and my siblings by our Mexican parents. Castulo, my dad, was a family man who helped the community he came from, always welcoming them into our home. Although he's gone now, I was one of the lucky ones. I got to see my parents become US citizens and help those they could within their community with citizenship. Which is why today I'm donating to the Immigrant Defense Project and Immigrant Defenders Law Project to support their work to help bring families back together. I'll be linking their pages here for anyone else who feels compelled to support them as well. Happy Father's Day!

Back in my home studio!

Bittersweet to announce that I've moved back into my home studio. I'll miss the ladies at Bunny's and wish them all the best. Natalie is amazing and your girl if looking to do your brows or lashes. I'm looking forward to seeing all you reunited with Tuli and Pancho. But even more excited to bring back the services that I couldn't offer before. Babylights in the springtime is my favorite and they're coming back! Color and washing services will return to the menu tomorrow by 10am. Yay! Thank you for coming along with me.
