Eight years ago, I surrendered. Today, I am grateful for the people who came before me that paved the way. I am grateful for my friends and family who have walked with me through this journey. I am grateful that I was one of the lucky ones who has an opportunity to experience the miracles of recovery. I am grateful for my addiction as it shaped who I am today. I am grateful for willingness to do the right thing. I am grateful for my sober family who keeps me accountable. I am grateful for my sponsees who trust me to guide them throughout their journey. I am grateful that I love myself today.

🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ 🌈 I was overwhelmed with emotion yesterday at the No Matter What Recovery SAVE THE DATE: 2nd Annual 'Show Your Pride' Party. As I sat back and watched our community, alumni, clients, friends, and family celebrate , I was reminded of how the LGBTQ+ community got to where we are today. I was reminded of all the q***r folks who fought for us to have a place at the table. I couldn’t stop crying on stage thinking of how grateful I am to be able to married to , the man that I love. I am grateful that I live in a city and state where my rights are protected. I was saddened to think of those who’s rights are being taken away in some states here in the USA. LGBTQ+ folks have the same rights as anyone, and I will continue to contribute what I can so that people can have the same feeling 20 years from now that I had yesterday. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ 🌈

Umm! Today was epic 🎊! I got the opportunity to work the booth at today. Then, I got to see some our favorite queens with my husband, and our child ! Also, ran into our friends, and Sal. I 💜 my life!
