I was going to say I miss doing makeup demos but I literally did 3 last year so maybe I just want an opportunity to do more makeup in general this year with good friends.
This inspired makeup was so much fun to do on for . She was the perfect Poppy.

I do find myself nostalgic the version of myself I was in 2016, and the world I inhabited. I was was nonstop creating, bringing original characters to life, finding ways to play dress up on the daily, my hair never stopped changing. I was on tv, opportunities kept knocking but life moved on and so did I. A part of me needed to remember her, to find her again, but I also am solid in the person I have become. Even if that person now has dealt with a lot of hurt, and fears for the world we now inhabit. I’m stronger in my convictions than ever, stronger in my identity. My skills have grown and for every time I feel I’m going backwards I make moves forward without realizing it. 2016 Keaghlan, I love you and I’m grateful for our journey. Thank you for taking care of us, but I’ve got it here, and I’ll try to make 2026 full of whimsy and political rage.
If you need me, I’ll be in my studio obsessing over what to 3D print next! I needed a tool holder for my sculpting tools on my workbench and decided I wanted form and function. Now I have a skullpting tool holder that is both functional and a great reference model.

I got to be a plus one to the press preview of the exhibit. This exhibit was truly breathtaking. The attention to detail was immaculate, the rare books and speaking to a rare book specialist was an experience unto itself. I could’ve talked about the TWO first editions of Frankenstein they had on view all day. I cried repeatedly. I aspire to be a part of something so meticulously crafted one day. The biggest thank you to for the invite! Hopefully they’ll extend the dates so more people get to see it.
The best thing I did this year was get my best friend a best friend. Willow needed a buddy and they were instantly bonded. They’re two peas in a pod. I’m so glad I listened to my instincts. I found Wednesday (formerly Noelle) through . They made the process so easy, and I’m grateful to them.

Sculpted my mom Bumble from the claymation classic Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer for Christmas. Naturally I got minimal footage of me making it.

People love to ask me what kind of art is my favorite and honestly it’s the last thing I did. I love having such a varied career in the arts. Book me for makeup, mask making, prop building, scenic art, experiential builds I love making things that didn’t exist before come to life.

You don’t need AI to make a cute Christmas photo.
I borrowed this wig courtesy of but a Santa hat would do. I put this look together with some cheap red tights, cheap red gloves and a bathing suit and heels I already owned. I’m sitting on a dollar store table cloth. I took this with my iPhone. Use your own Christmas tree and get creative. I promise you it would look better than the same photos being regurgitated and you would have more fun and take more pride in the photos. We need to stop letting AI rob us of our creativity and our whimsy. I believe in you.
