It’s only been a week since the Oscars but it feels like a year already! 🤩
The fear of messing up in front of a billion viewers is real. Grateful it went splendidly!

Mr Valentino has left this runway. I think with fondness of the early 90’s during which I had the honor of keying 7-8 of his big shows as well as numerous campaigns. He could discuss shades of red lipstick with meticulous nuance.
As the date of the show approached he would do fittings and rehearsals at all hours of the day and night. La prova, he called it. It was not for the faint of heart but I learned so much from the process.

The year is 1982. I’ve just arrived in Paris as an aspiring makeup artist full of ambition, sass, hope and fear - can you tell? 😆

Ended the year on a high note with this glorious December editorial with Sigourney for ! Went for the “cool” vibe rather than traditionally glamorous. The eye makeup feels a bit lived in and the face is naturally unadorned. The great hair and fabulous oversized fashion do the rest of the magic. Truly a 2025 highlight!
