We officially launched our 14-week journey of Tend the Temple yesterday 🤍

We’re starting fresh in 2026.
We’re not teaching anything this time. We’re simply moving through the prayer book for the inner woman and how that life of the spirit extends into our body.

If you missed this round, don’t feel left out. This is only the beginning!

We’re discovering what it truly means to tend the body as a temple. Hence, Tend the Temple Tuesdays.

We’re meditating on two things:
1. What does it mean to tend our body as a temple, especially in how God created the bodies of women?
2. What does it feel like and look like to move our body led by the Holy Spirit — Ruach, which also means ‘breath’.

It’s been a while. 💐

The Lux Perpetua leadership team is entering a few months of deep diving into the true meaning of body as temple.

We’re taking a short break from holding classes to focus on discussion, reflection, and prayer over what it truly means to tend to our bodies as temples. We want to create a space where women can openly talk about the realities of living in a woman’s body: the monthly bleeding for nearly 50 years, the hormonal shifts, the emotional and physical changes. None of this is an accident. God designed us this way, and it is beautiful and whole. We want to cultivate honoring this purposeful design of being a women.

We’ll be sending our first invitations to women we believe will contribute to this conversation. If you feel called to be part of this discussion group, please send a DM or email [email protected].

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what Lux Perpetua is, so here’s the heart behind what we do in three parts:

1️⃣ The Name
Lux Perpetua means everlasting light.
Like candles lighting candles, we want to light each other’s light so no one has to shine alone in the dark and barely stay lit.

2️⃣ The Society
We are a community of women dedicated to holistic health — body, soul, and spirit — through thoughtfully designed classes and lifelong friendship.
True flourishing happens in community.
Yes, opening up can feel scary. Yes, it hurts to see our darkness.
But when we bring it to the light, that’s when healing begins.

3️⃣ The Vision
We want to create a safe space for women to talk about women’s health and healing, similar a women’s health center, but for our whole selves, and beyond (to our family, friends, and our world)

Healthy women → healthy relationships → healthy families.
Leading to: a healthy society :)
We’ll have programs for men and families in the future too.

Have you ever tried to ‘sleep off’ your anger or stress?
Does it help? Perhaps.

But sometimes, leaning into the feelings, letting them out, feeling it all allows us to be human - with our irrational anger and childish tantrums… riding the waves 🌊
Without them how are we to be humble, to understand, to have compassion for ourselves and others?
