I’ve had a lot of conversations recently & listened to multiple storytellers share their experiences. It was really apparent to me that every single one of them needed to find a reason to validate why they made a choice. A choice they are allowed to make.
It honestly made me feel bad for them. It made me feel bad for all of us as a collective. Any violence happening against women always seems to be justified with an exception or a reason for us to be seen or heard or for our experiences to be validated.
I want to push the needle here and have the conversation.. do we really need anyone else’s approval on our bodies & our choices? Simple answer is no and the reasons for why we made said choice are irrelevant to any other person than the person making the choice.
What are your thoughts?

I never thought that moving to the US alone and building an entire life here would lead me to DC let alone Capitol Hill. It’s all from sharing my story.. standing up for women’s rights & never letting anyone tell me no.
Your voice is so important and it matters - so does your vote! This is how we make change. 💕
