A Lover Girls, fitness journey…
About 3.5 years ago I met when she became my personal trainer. We instantly hit it off!
I was simultaneously in the best and worst chapter of my life.
I was on a European tour with one of the biggest female rappers, my career as a celebrity makeup artist was on fire!
But back home my 16 year relationship/ family was falling apart. At the same time I had just had back to back spiritual awakenings, so it was a time of severe introspection for me.

Many of you have been following me for years! Watched me have my two children, seen them grow, saw my marriage quietly disappear. And my career flourish. You saw me struggle with my weight after kids and joined me on my weight loss surgery and mommy makeover journey with and HUGE shout out to my family Victor and Gladys, not only have they been key to my physical transformation but spiritually as well. I love y’all so much! 🤍 🦋

When I decided to take working out seriously, it was out of survival. My mental health was shot! I was physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually on E! I was fighting for my life! Literally!
Many days I showed up and I would cry throughout my entire workout. Some days I would just talk to Ray about life and she would to me as well. But the most important part was that I showed up. And she allowed me to show up as I was and held space for me as a woman, a mother, a sister.
My work/ tour life was crazy, and I would fall off and not come in for long periods of time. Ray would say “just come, you don’t even have to pay me, just show up.” 🥹🤍 I am forever grateful for you little chicken nugget 🫂 ILYSM

Yes, I like to look and feel good, but working out for me is way more than achieving a look. It’s about showing up for myself no matter what I’m going through, honoring the body that has endured so much and is still going. Transmuting the trauma and heaviness life has given me and being able to release it through moving and strengthening my body. Sometimes I still cry during my workouts because it’s how my body unlocks trapped energy.
This is one of the ways I show myself unconditional love.💖🌹

Embracing every aspect of myself at 40.
Getting into glam has always been my sacred time of transmutation. It’s more than vanity — it’s ritual. The vanity becomes my altar. A sacred space of truth, self-love, and transformation. Falling in love with myself has been the ultimate Lover Girl move 🌹❤️
