8 years ago today, I filmed Shark Tank. 🦈💗

When I got home that night, I opened my Notes app and wrote this to myself while I was still trying to process everything that had happened.

I’ve never shared this publicly before (unless you count my therapist 😂💁🏼‍♀️), but in honor of the anniversary, it felt like the right time.

“Today was the day... I DID IT!! 🙌🏻💗

I got to walk through the doors on Shark Tank!
As I sit outside talking to my sister about how Shark Tank went (it went GREAT and I got a deal with Lori!! 💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️💃💃💗) anyways, back to the point...

As I sit here overwhelmed with every emotion running through my body from this grueling day, I looked up at my sister and asked, ‘Did my life just change today?’ But then I corrected myself...

I changed my life when I made those hard decisions to go down a scary unknown road alone. I realized that today is my reward for something I decided a long time ago. Today I JUMPED!

Lessons learned:
Never give up 💪🏼
Faith will get you through everything 🙏🏼🙌🏽💗
Never back down in what you believe in.
Stand up for yourself.

What began as a personal solution quickly became something women everywhere connected to in deeply personal ways. Mothers used it while breastfeeding. Women dealing with heat rash, moisture buildup, chafing, and sensitive skin finally felt relief. Women going through menopause, postpartum changes, long work days, anxiety sweats, and overstimulating seasons of life felt seen.
