Since my lil vacation I've been MIA. But over this past month I feel like I've been swimming in new responsibilities.
Learning new things and studying new material takes a lot of mental energy.
Not to mention trying to balance my workout schedule and fighting to keep my health as a top priority; its been a struggle.
But, I'm pushing through and starting to feel some balance.
I feel like I can come up for some fresh air.

One thing that has helped me save some time when it's crunch time is meal prepping so I'm looking forward to sharing some of that with you. 😁

Don't get me wrong, Scales, when used regularly, are useful for tracking your body's natural weight fluctuations, but when aiming to build muscle and burn fat, the number isn't always an accurate measurement when striving to achieve Body Recomposition Goals. Therefore, scales should be used as an additional tool for tracking progress.

To get a bigger picture of your progress:

1. Take regular photos (e.g., weekly or monthly) to visually document changes in your body shape and composition.

2. Track the amount of weight lifted, number of repetitions, or sets completed in strength training exercises.

3. Use a tape measure to track changes in body parts such as the waist, hips, chest, arms, and thighs.

The scale can lead to frustration If you use it daily. So, use it as a tool to understand how your body weight fluctuates. A good rule of thumb is to track your progress every four weeks using the tips given above. This allows you to make regular more accurate changes/progressions to your program.

Are you tracking your progress or guessing?🤔

One and a half hour of focus and attention for the mind and body.

Today was a Fasted workout and my energy was on point.
Spent alot of time doing SMR, self myofascial Release, to promote blood flow and enhance recovery of yesterday's workouts as well as muscle Activation to prepare for my weight session.

Trained Full body (Push) for muscular endurance with shorter rest periods to accommodate for time constraints.

5 Things You don't want...

• To let fear of lifting heavy weights hold you back from building lean muscle.

To overlook the importance of proper nutrition, as it plays a crucial role in achieving your fitness goals.

To rely solely on cardio without incorporating strength training, missing out on the benefits of muscle development.

To compare your progress to others, as everyone's fitness journey is unique.

To skip rest days, as adequate recovery is essential for muscle growth and overall well-being.
