Most people are looking for the perfect plan…
I was just trying not to quit.
7+ years. Every phase. Every setback. Every lesson.
No shortcuts. No secrets. Just showing up when I didn’t feel like it.
I’ve seen all the advice — tough love, body positivity, everything in between…
but none of it matters if it doesn’t work for YOU.
Love yourself enough to do the work.
Love yourself enough to stay when it’s hard.
Love yourself enough to figure out your own formula.
You’re worthy. You’re deserving.
But nobody is coming to do it for you.
Block out the noise. Build your own blueprint.
200 lbs down… and still building.

Work.
04/15/2026
Stay solid in who you are.
Not who they expect… not who they’re comfortable with… YOU.
I’ve learned the hard way—people will doubt you, question you, even disappear when you start leveling up. Let them.
Because the truth is…
nothing real happens overnight.
It’s built in the dark.
Through the days nobody sees.
Through the reps you don’t feel like doing.
Through the battles you don’t talk about.
Time + patience + relentless work… that’s the formula.
Head down. Stay dangerous. Keep building. 💪🏽🔥

This chapter is for me.
This is for the version of me who was fighting battles nobody saw.
The one who felt stuck, lost, and ready to quit… but didn’t.
This isn’t just a transformation.
It’s a promise kept.
And I’m not done yet.

They say only the good die young…
and you were one of the best.
Wild Waikiki nights,
ripping Newports,
drinking Patrón,
talking about life like we had forever.
Now all we have are memories…
but damn, they still feel alive.
At 42, I still carry your legacy on my chest—
a story I’ll never stop telling.

Remember his name.
Never forget.

Still crushin’ plates.
Just doing it a little different.
200 lbs down.
Different body.
Different mindset.
Same beast.
Keep showing up.

Same person… just kept showing up.
The change didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t just happen in the gym.
It showed up in how I carry myself, how I think, and how I walk into every room—including the courtroom.
Still the same guy, just trying to be better than I was yesterday.
This journey taught me that small, consistent effort adds up in ways you don’t see at first… until one day you do.
If it feels impossible right now, I get it.
But it’s not. Just keep showing up.
One day, it all starts to change.
Transformation Tuesday.
If I can do it, so can you. I know it’s not impossible because I lived it. Even if you don’t believe in yourself yet, I do. Keep showing up, keep fighting, and give yourself the chance to become everything you say you want to be.

Ignore the doubt and do it.
You won’t regret believing in yourself when no one else did.
Keep fighting. Keep showing up. Keep betting on you.
Swipe through and see what happens when you believe anyway.
Easter Sunday. 2009. Iraq.
One moment changed everything.
Ambushed on Route Tampa by a crush wire IED… and the war didn’t end when we came home.
Depression. Addiction. 220+ lbs gained.
I lost myself for a long time.
But I found my way back.
Through love. Through therapy. Through doing the work when nobody was watching.
220+ lbs down.
Skin removal. Surgery. Healing.
Rebuilding a life I almost lost.
Now I train for the ones who didn’t make it home.
I speak for the ones still fighting silent battles.
As this page pushes toward 24K… just know this—
If you’re struggling right now…
it’s not over for you.
You can take your life back too.
Grails & Gains.
Fear failure? Nah… fear never even trying.
Because failure teaches.
Failure builds.
Failure gets you one step closer.
But never trying?
That keeps you stuck exactly where you are.
One day or day one… you decide.
Start messy. Start scared. Just START.
Your future self is watching. Don’t let them down.

5 real tips that changed everything for me:
• Stop trying to “fix everything” — win the day instead
• Your thoughts will lie to you… don’t negotiate with excuses
• Build routines, not hype — routines carry you when motivation dies
• You’re not behind… you’re just getting started
• Healing your mind is what makes the body transformation stick
This wasn’t luck.
This wasn’t overnight.
This was choosing—every single day—
to outwork the version of me that wanted to quit.
I promise you — it’s not impossible.
Just don’t stop showing up.
