For weeks, months, or perhaps even years, my world was defined by noise. There was the noise of accusations, the ringing of defensive thoughts in my head, and the heavy, suffocating static of being misunderstood. i told myself that if i could just cross the finish line—if i could just clear my name and prove the truth—the noise would be replaced by a chorus of relief.

Instead, the silence is deafening.

i cleared my name. The truth is out. But as i look at my phone, the notifications are empty. No one has called to congratulate me. No one has reached out to say, "I’m so glad this is finally over." The battle is won, yet l find myself sitting in the aftermath, feeling entirely, utterly alone. #김수영
