It’s been an adventure so far into parenthood and I’m so grateful I’m on this “ride” with you. Thank you for making sure Lea and I are well taken care of. Thank you for cooking and feeding me yummy homemade meals while I’m breast feeding or pumping. I love hearing all your cute songs and dances with miss Lea to get her to calm down or fall asleep. 1st: YES I just gave myself some long side swoop bangs and face frame layers today!
2nd: 4 days since Salons in Los Angeles County have been shutdown for the 3rd time. I’m ok. I was meh and then stressed😒 and just bummed out all Monday. Now I’m Just taking the time to rest up and chill because also I gotta be safe for the baby 👶🏻. I am going to wait it out for the next few weeks and not take clients. We will see if we can come back to hair salons by the 1st of the new year god willing 🙏🏼. I support my fellow hairstylists in doing whatever they need to In order to provide for themselves and their loved ones. This is just such a crappy situation and I hope everyone great health and to just be safe whatever you decide to do. Please please please everyone wear a mask, don’t sit for coffee chatting with your mask off! stop having gatherings! You can show people you truly love them by zoom or FaceTime. Tonight is the 1st night of Hanukkah and my last one alone with hubby before baby. 😆 So I decided to give myself a blowout and maybe I’ll dress up for dinner for us as at home as well.

Sorry for ranting but I have to say it. We all are literally in a life or death situation and the mask is working. I’m prego with asthma and can handle wearing a mask all day when working I’m very sure you can breathe and function as well with a mask for everyone else’s safety. Please take this pandemic seriously. Don’t go get it from being reckless to then go unknowingly spreading to the one person or persons who can’t survive this disease. Natural looking balayage for .m.schaefer 😍🙌🏽 just in time for fall. Swipe right for her before from June when we just did a root touch up and haircut. Layers looked great so on Sunday I just did a light snip at the ends to freshen up the perimeter. I always ask my longer haired clients to please come come in for haircuts at least every two months so we can maintain that beautiful long hair! 🤗

Currently doing Tuesday, Thursday and some Saturdays at in Santa Monica and Fridays and Sundays at in Studio City. Please keep in mind we are only allowed to work at 25% capacity for now in Los Angeles County. I will need to schedule appointments ahead of time and spaced out accordingly. Also I appreciate if you need to cancel to please do so before or latest 24 hours prior so I can accommodate other clients. Thank you all for the love and support of my small business!!! I, Shay, As of Tomorrow ‪July 14, 2020‬ sadly again will not be taking any clients in either salons or doing house calls temporarily. Once I receive further notice, details of the CA mandatory shutdown being lifted I will definitely update all clients again for re-scheduling. Thank you to the ones who have been reaching out all day today and seeing how I am doing. I'm still trying to process this new news, which is very disappointing, but I want us all to be safe! I will figure out different beauty options in the mean time for those that need their color done in the coming weeks and reach out to the ones already scheduled. My online store for shampoos and various hair products are still available on my website (link in below ). All I can say for now is I am so grateful for my health, husband, family, and friends' health. Please wear the mask when you have to be out, and be safe!
