Day 2 of the reset…
This is usually when I start noticing a shift.
It’s not really hunger —
it’s more like a different kind of energy.
Things feel a little quieter…
a little more intentional.
I know that under the surface, my body is starting to adapt —
moving more into fat utilization and beginning deeper repair processes.
It’s subtle, but you feel it.
Day 1 of my Prolon 5-day fast.
The first day is always a transition — you’re still in your normal routine, but your body is already starting to shift.
Energy feels steady, not overly hungry, just more aware.
Under the surface, this is when the body is beginning to move toward fat utilization and preparing for deeper processes like cellular repair and rejuvenation.
For me, this isn’t about restriction — it’s about creating the right conditions for the body to do what it’s designed to do.

Time for menu planning! This is my go to pumpkin themed recipe for Thanksgiving!
My Pumpkin Spice cake is low in refined carbs, gluten-free and grain free and oh, sooo good! I use home roasted butternut squash in it, instead of the canned pumpkin puree, which makes it naturally sweet, requiring less sugar.
