😮‍💨 i saw this this morning on internet, would you agree for a trade?
As my math, yes. Why? For humor and at least the lady has been fair with the price of a chicken on market.

NAILPRO ASIA – KOREA 🇰🇷
📍 AT Center, Seoul, Korea
📅 17–18 April 2026

It is truly an honor to step into this space—not just as an artist, but as a judge on an international stage among some of the most talented nail professionals in the world.

My journey in this industry has never been about comfort—it’s been about growth, discipline, and the courage to push beyond limits. From long nights, failures, and relentless practice… to standing here today, being trusted to evaluate and uplift the work of others—this is something I don’t take lightly.

I carry with me not just my experience, but my story—an immigrant, a self-taught artist, and someone who chose to go all the way with her craft.

Thank you to Nailpro Global Competitions for the opportunity and trust.
I’m excited to witness the creativity, passion, and evolution of nail artistry across Asia and beyond.

See you in Seoul. ✨

2026, please consider your client’s nail beds more seriously. Thanks!

We haven’t “elevated” prep — we’ve monetized damage.

Healthy prep has always meant respecting the natural nail plate.
Somewhere along the way, overfiling became a trend — marketed as “long-lasting,” “extra secure,” or “premium prep.”

But the truth is simple:

✨ The nail doesn’t need to be shaved down to hold product.
✨ White, chalky nails = compromised structure
✨ Pain, heat spikes + thinning = trauma
✨ Damage shouldn’t be a selling point

Technique matters. Pressure matters. Training matters.
And your natural nails deserve protection — not profit at their expense.

To my clients: you never need to suffer for pretty nails.
To my fellow techs: we can create beautiful work and keep the nail healthy. Always.

This industry moves forward when health + integrity stay first 💛

I just saw a post pop up on my feed from someone looking for “really good nail designs without the $120 price tag.” Instead of responding directly under her post, I wanted to share my perspective here — respectfully, without mentioning her name or where it came from.

When you see a $120 nail set, please understand: the nail tech doesn’t take home $120.
After rent, platform fees, taxes, tools, products, licenses, sanitation requirements, education, travel, and health costs… a tech may only take home around $40–$60. And that income usually comes from about 2 hours of work — sometimes even more depending on her skill set and the level of detail.

And yes — the economy affects us all.

Every nail system also requires its own time to learn and master.
Some skills unlock faster than others:
• X-gel — maybe about 1 month to begin offering safely
• Dip/powder — around 1 month
• Builder gel — around 3 months
• Acrylic — often 2 years to truly perfect and work consistently without lifting, bleeding, or damage

But even those timelines are different for everyone. It depends on whether the tech has already mastered using the drill correctly, shaping, product control, brush pressure, angle — and most importantly, client safety. Real mastery isn’t overnight.

A good nail tech doesn’t just “watch YouTube.” Many of us spend years traveling for classes, investing in advanced education, practicing daily, and constantly improving so we can protect your natural nails while giving you beautiful work. That requires real investment — time, money, energy, passion, and health.

There will always be someone willing to go cheaper. Always.
But here’s the real question:

Do you want the cheapest?
Or the artist who values her craft — and values your hands?

Price reflects experience, sanitation, safety, and respect for our profession. Just like doctors, hairstylists, tattoo artists — skill is earned, protected, and honored.

I share this to uplift my industry, not argue.
To remind my fellow artists:
Be yourself, price with integrity, and your people will find you.

Happy New Year — may this year bring respect, abundance, and alignment to everyone doing things the right way. 💛
