This client had previous pmu (not by me) that faded to a reddish color. By using pigments with green undertones I was able to neutralize the pigment discoloration. Pigments used were Tina Davies Ash Brown + Blonde - combo of Microblading+ shading!

I’m over here just enhancing what you already have! 🙋🏼♀️if you’re looking for a natural look, microblading should be a LOW maintenance procedure, not a no maintenance procedure. You still may want to use brow gel daily or make up for big occasions.

FAQ! “I have gray brows. What color will you use on my brows?”
So many factors go into answering this! Most women do not want gray brows, so we typically assess your skin tone, natural color of your hair and/or what color you typically dye and keep your hair to match accordingly. This being said, depending on the amount of grays and/or color choice needed, some women may have to commit to tinting their brow hairs if they already do so. We want to avoid the unnatural contrast of darker strokes sitting behind very light brow hairs. In your brow pre-care steps you want to avoid tinting at least two weeks before your appointment so we have a better idea of your natural color to match pigments correctly.
If you have a full head of gray hair and want then to match closer to your hair, there are gray pigments we can use!
My client here is sporting a freshly done combo brow with Medium Brown pigment. She does have gray brows (tinting had started to wear off) and will continue to tint to keep the match looking natural!

Fresh fluffs! ⚡️ this is a GREAT educational post if you have previous permanent make up! (Previous work here was not by me) Everyone’s skin is different and it’s unpredictable how your skin will retain the pigment over time. Some may fade away, others may blend together and shift a bit in color. Depends many factors such as how active you are, skin products you may use and even medications you are on.
If you desire the natural looking brow with “hair strokes” you MUST let your permanent make up fade. I recommend 2-3 years after your touch up appointment! (Your skin can only obtain so much pigment at one time) in this case my client had her brows done in 2018 and you can see she still retained a good amount of pigment after 3 years! (Her hair strokes had blended and softened together) In cases like these, you often have to add shading in. However, my client wanted to take it in steps and we are seeing how they heal before we pack in some shading. Turned out pretty great and still felt natural! Thanks for choosing me for your brow transformation and can’t wait to see you at the touch up! 💫

FAQ: Does microblading hurt?
ANSWER: Just depends. For some people no for others yes. I try to keep my guest as comfortable as possible using a topical anesthetic that sits on the skin prior to the procedure. During the procedure we continue to use a liquid anesthetic that constricts the blood vessels. Fun fact! This is this reason you see my finished brows having the white looking halo around them in after photos!
What gets to most people is the sound! tattooing the skin with a manual device in a hair-like stroke, sounds like Velcro!
