Let’s talk ingrown hairs real quick 🫣
Why do they happen and how can we prevent them with waxing?
1. Ingrown hairs happen when the hair gets trapped by dead skin, sweat, or oil.
2. If you’re not exfoliating consistently and removing dead skin the hair gets trapped.
3. You want to exfoliate with something gritty but safe for the area like the exfoliation cloth I retail from and maybe even a chemical exfoliant if your skin requires it.
4. ALWAYS moisturize after you exfoliate and DAILY! PLEASE for the love of god! Your skin is dryer than the desert.
5. Wear loose non restrictive clothing the first week. No sweating after your wax for 24hr. Plan your appointments around the workout.
6. Come in consistently to get waxed to help synchronize your hair cycles.
