🌲 HAPPY WORLD WILDLIFE DAY 🌲

🌲Steve Irwin said, “If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.”

🌲United Nations World Wildlife Day (WWD) is celebrated every year on 3 March to celebrate wild animals and plants. Every year, we recognize the unique roles and contributions of wildlife to people and the planet.

🌲The United Nations has set ‘Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation’ as the theme for World Wildlife Day 2024.

🌲It will highlight how digital conservation services and technologies can help drive wildlife conservation.

Why can’t the US ban greenwashing? I’m interested to see what companies start pulling out or completely changing their branding due to this.

🌲 Due to the support my business has received Fox and Fable was able to sponsor 4 patients at the World Bird Sanctuary. A Red Tailed Hawk, a Great Horned Owl, a Bald Eagle, and an American Kestrel. 🦅 🐦

🌲 January was World Bird Sanctuary in Missouri. They do great things for our avian friends and they have been an amazing sanctuary concerning the care and release of injured birds. The World Bird Sanctuary Wildlife Hospital rehabilitates over 600 birds of prey each and every year in the St. Louis, Missouri area. 43% of these birds are returned back to the wild – that’s higher than the national average! 🏥

🌲 Their mission is to protect and preserve birds and their habitats through conservation, rehabilitation, and education. Their vision is to create a world where birds and humans live in harmony. 💕

🌲Today is all about the Great Horned Owl! This one isn’t a permanent resident of the World Bird Sanctuary. He s going through an injury that has lead him to the World Bird Sanctuary’s Kathryn G. Favre Wildlife Hospital treats over 600 sick or injured birds annually with the goal of releasing them back into the wild.

🌲The average treatment cost for a sick or injured bird is $350. A sponsorship of a patient makes a huge difference by helping them provide food, medicine, and treatment to birds in need.

🌲Your donation would help cover the release and much of the medical bills involved to help them find their way back into the trees again!

Part 2: Household Cleaning Edition

🌿It may be easy to just reach for Clorox and call it a day, but the chemicals and packaging is awful for the environment.

🌿Making a switch to sustainable packaging and clean products can both save you money AND help the environment. Glass spray bottles are very sleek, and you can buy concentrate that you simply add water! On average these concentrates are $3 and the boxes usually have 2! So you can get 2 sprays for the price of a normal cleaner!

🌿 a lot of these products have easy refills and nice containers you can use for other things when you are finished. I love storing my ✨trinkets✨ in the empty containers!

Day 4

🌿Today is the Pheasant! Pheasants are known for have exceptional eyesight and hearing. They are able to quickly detect predators and run up to 10 MPH.

🌿 Pheasants do not migrate like other birds. Instead, they stay cooped up in their roosts and are able to go several days without food! ❄️

🌿Two feathered friends in the Adopt-a-Bird Program are Tammy and Ringo !! This pair are critically endangered and they have had success breeding so that their kind can be reintroduced to Vietnam!
