Pro tip: When working with small kids, they’re going to move a lot. Their little bodies aren’t quite ready to sit still for as long as a haircut needs😓 My suggestion is to follow the kiddo around. When their head moves, you move with it!🫨

Another thing I do is let the kiddo lean on me. When they start squirming, I’ll let them lean on my stomach! None of my little clients have minded😂 I’ll use my hands and arms to support their heads as well.

Not much length was taken off, mostly just the frizzy ends and the little bump in the back👀 We also took out some weight and added some smoothing layers in to help reduce more of the frizz. She loved the way it felt and laid!!😍

Throwback to my first EVER clipper cut in school!!🥹 I love going back and seeing the differences between the work I did when I first started this career to now. It's such a good reminder that this is all about practice. The more practice I've gotten, the better work I've done🤩

Tutorials are also massively helpful🫢 I wouldn't have figured out the best way for me to do my fades without YouTube lol, so massive thanks to everyone who posts tutorials😅😍

For everyone just starting out with hair, don't ever lose hope🥰 You won't get the hang of everything immediately. It takes continuous practice to get good and stay good. I never thought I would be where I am today with my work, but I'm so happy with how good I'm doing now🤩🥹🥰
