Some of you know that Oasis Spa reached out to me to help them bring body treatments to their spa menu back in July. The Firming Contour Wrap has done really well over at this location but not so much at my location. I attribute this to a lack of shower at my current space which can make it a little uncomfortable in the removal process. It doesn't take away from the results but it affects the overall experience.

I already have several clients that have had multiple treatments so the benefits and feedback have been very good. Customers have noticed results in their physical appearance as well as overall feeling of wellbeing whether combined with with a regular exercise program or not, but we all know that that's where we get the most benefits when both are added to our lifestyles.

*I have just recently taken these treatments off of my menu and am now only offering them at Oasis Spa on Mondays (9:30-4) and Wednesdays (9:30-1pm). This is mainly due to product waste......

Oasis Spa has a very nice set-up that allows me to utilize a shower so it makes the treatment much nicer than what I can provide at my current space in Middletown. If you have thought about body wraps at all and want to experience the results please come see me if those days work for your schedule.

I'm also now trained in the Hydrafacial treatment for the face and am ready to help you add this service into your current regimen with me. It would be great to do this treatment once a quarter for a deeper exfoliation and clean out of the skin and would compliment your Pevonia, DDG or Bio-therapeutics program. This would not take the place of your current maintenance or facials with me at Thrive Beauty.

Hydrafacial is definitley more expensive but there are three levels of the treatment to choose from. This treatment works to exfoliate the skin while at the same time infusing the skin with deep hydration, anti-oxidants, and the premium treatment includes Lymphatic Drainage and LED Light therapy. You can call me or text me to ask any questions prior to booking your appointment.

Please call Oasis Spa directly 502-753-7541 And they will be happy to schedule you. The spa director has generously offered to give my clients $20 off OF THESE TREATMENTS but you have to mention that and be a current client of mine to get the savings. This savings could change at any time so I would take advantage while it is available. I go by their pricing for both body wraps and Hydrafacials.

In the meantime, I would go ahead and plan your visits with me for the remainder of the year, whichever location you want to come to, as I am booking up fast in this busy season.

In the very near future, I'll be bringing in two body wraps that are easily removable by Pevonia to my Thrive Beauty location. I'm super excited for all that I am able to offer you to help you maintain your beautiful skin!

Dermaplaning
After a long time of considering this treatment I have finally been certified in Dermaplaning. I'm super excited about it and loving the results so far and so are my clients!

You can find multiple variations on my website from just dermaplaning to a deluxe treatment with LED light. This is a collagen builder and aids in ingredient absorption to deliver results.

AquaTight Facial by Pevonia
A new choice for the customized 90 minute facial. This treatment utilizes Pevonia's latest trio of Hyaluronic products that have just been released, Hydra Cleanser, Hydra Mask and Hydra Moisturizer and includes an infusion of marine collagen at the end of the mask treatment. It leaves your skin feeling tight (in a good way) but hydrated at the same time!

I have received great feedback on these products in a short time and I'm excited to offer them to you through this facial and homecare products.

New website / Retail: I have changed my website to be fully integrated with Square so it has a new look. I will be adding more items to make ordering products a little easier. You should be able to use your loyalty points on purchases through the sight as well as accumulate points like always. This will take some time to accomplish so in the meantime just keep sending me texts, calling, etc and I will either have products ready for pickup or send you an invoice and ship them right out to you.

What’s happening at Thrive Beauty and Tips for radiant skin this Summer!

Happy Summer! I'm glad it's finally here but it's been soooooo hot. I've been keeping things pretty light in my skincare and makeup routine this year but wanted to share some tips to help you stay hydrated and radiant. Tips are in the second section below.

I have some exciting news to share. As some of you know I have recently been certified in Oncology esthetics. I have the opportunity to teach one class a month for the next three months at Gilda's Club in the Highlands. They provide services for not just the person going through Cancer diagnosis and treatment, but also anyone affected by Cancer such as a family member or caregiver.

This is a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge and introduce incredible products and treatments to help those who have either been through a Cancer diagnosis or are currently going through treatments and may be experiencing some skin sensitivities.

I've named the workshop RADIANT. If you know anyone who might be in need of some help and healing, even if they have not had Cancer but have been affected by it- please call Gilda's Club or go to their website to register. It's free but they need to reserve the spot as it's a limited class.

Now onto some tips to keep that radiant glow!

Tip 1: Keep up your maintenance at home with face polishes and masks in between facial visits
I know this may sound very basic but it's such a big help in between visits especially if you are not a once a month or 5 week regular. Farmhouse Fresh is an excellent product line for these products. Face polishes, and a whole host of yummy smelling masks help to perk you up each week.

My favorites:
One Fine Day Sugar Polish- mornings in place of my cleanser
Pudding a Peel- great for brightening and to help with clogged pores
Sundae Best- firming and stimulating- smells like chocolate-not for sensitive skin

I like to switch it up each week with something different so I keep a few of my favorites on hand.

Tip 2: Face Oils
I have really been loving using a face oil at night and even in the morning sometimes during the Summer. In the past I tended to keep these oils for the Winter time, but not anymore. I just went to dinner the other night with some girlfriends and was complemented on how my skin was glowing. I had just put on some oil underneath my Jane Iredale pressed foundation.

I have a few to choose from depending on your skin type and need, but lately I've been using just pure Jojoba Oil at nighttime from a newer line I brought in to retail. I do love the De-stress Aromatic Oil and Vitaminic Concentrate by Pevonia though. Who doesn't love the way their products smell and those two oils have more concentrated essential oils for specific needs.

Tip 3: Lightweight foundation or tinted Spf and Blush/bronzer, light lip shade
For those days when I don't want to put a lot on I have a few choices to turn to: tinted serum by Jane, Youth Renew by Pevonia, 5-in-1 tinted by Suntegrity or even the pressed foundation by Jane. So many great products to choose from and they are all very lightweight. Lately I've been using Dubonnet Blush by Jane as my bronzer. It gives a gentle sun-kissed look. Farmhouse Fresh has a few new lip gloss shades that are very nice.
