My client felt her color was too dark and flat, so we added a full head of hand-painted highlights to brighten and create dimension. Her hair had been through a lot these past few months, so I was a little concerned about damage and how it would lift. But to both of our surprise, it lightened beautifully and I was able to achieve this gorgeous result for her first session! 🤩

Love this soft dimensional blonde! 💕 Lowlights, face framing and highlights sprinkled through her part, plus a shadowed root gave her old solid blonde color a more lived-in look with better grow out! 🙌🏼

Painted highlights are so versatile. You can achieve high impact or more subtle natural looking color depending on placement, level of lift, and tone. This is my favorite way to color hair because it’s so customizable. 🤗👌🏼
