TONERS! The difference between paul Mitchell pearl (left) and matrix pearl (right)
I’m a die hard ice blonde lover so personally matrix p is my favorite BUT for the blondes who love that little bit of warmth PM p is BOMB! I love both but they are definitely NOT the same lol

Most people think hairdressers suggest good shampoo to make extra money off their clients. However, THIS is proof how bad build up can get on the hair!

I was lightening a woman’s hair yesterday and noticed how resistant it was to lighten, and this I realized why. What u see at the bottom of this processing cap is buildup literally melting off the hair! The ingredients in certain shampoos are basically coating your hair with plastic. It may feel “silky smooth” at first, but after a while you get so much buildup your hair dies from the inside out, because it can’t get any moisture through the layer of coating.

Makes you think twice before grabbing that Pantene off the shelf next time 😉

Side note: everyone wondering what’s a good shampoo; your main focus is to look for products without silicone, sulfates, or parabens.

Hi guys! As y’all know I’m living in Kentucky now! I’ve been taking a hiatus from hair until covid calms down bc as everyone knows my immune system is garbage- THAT BEING SAID-
I started a candle business back in January! I make highly scented 💯% soy candles that outperform b&bw in burn time- I have at least 30 different scents and ꧁bonus꧂you don’t even have to LIGHT them to have the smell fill your room! But on a hair related note:
I’ve created a Moroccan oil candle! I’m calling it Moroccan dream! But it smells EXACTLY like the shampoo/hair products! So if you would like to check out my Etsy, feel free! I’ll post it in the comments!!!!! I miss you all!

Teaching hair color. I’m really just a glorified kindergarten teacher…
TEXTURE MATTERS.
FINE hair may appear DARKER.
Why? Fine hair will have greater color saturation than medium or coarse hair because it has less space to fill.
The smaller the space, the more dense the color molecules will oxidize. Example: a level 4 on fine hair may appear to be a level 3.
COARSE hair will appear LIGHTER. Why? The larger space will result in color molecules being more spread out, therefore, appearing lighter. Example: a level 4 on coarse hair may appear to be a level 5.
What’s the answer? Formulate 1/2 to 1 level lighter for fine hair and 1/2 to 1 level darker for course.

Now I KNOW I said I wouldn’t post unless I released a new fragrance or if I was announcing that I was going to be at farmers market BUT I’m making an exception! THIS IS ALL OF US RIGHT NOW BUYING FALL CANDLES JUST WANTING SOME FALL IN OUR LIVES.
But it’s hot. And miserable. And I personally relate on a spiritual level! ESPECIALLY today!

So nice being in Michigan for the day 😉😉
to do some gorgeous hair- she’d let her full all over blonde grow out since covid so we did nice bright sun kissed highlight complimented by a rich lowlight to brighten and blend.
She looks GOOOOOD
