Na'vi Salon is excited to announce that we will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th!! We hope that everyone has been staying safe and can't wait to pamper you after this long period of hibernation.

Due to the restrictions set by our Governor, we will no longer accept walk-ins.

At Na'vi our number one focus has always been to take great care of you - your nails needs, your rejuvenation after a long day's work, but most importantly your safety. This is why we utilize a UV sterilization of all our tools, use one and done manicure and pedicure equipment and constantly sanitizing our salon.

In an effort to keep you and our staff safe and to follow COVID-19 restrictions set by our Governor, we will be implementing the following safety measures:

* Appointments only/no walk-ins

*Clients and staff must wear face masks at all time. Cloth masks are available for purchase.

*Clients must wash hands before service

*Client's temperature will be taken upon arrival (acceptable: 99º F or lower)

*Client must answer COVID screening questionnaire

*Client must wait in their cars until notified of their turn

*No guests of clients allowed in salon

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and Governor Beshear’s executive order, Na’vi Salon will be closed starting Wednesday March 18th until the order is lifted. Stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you back soon!

To the clients of Na’vi Salon, our friends and family, and all Americans:

We would like to share you a story. By the end of this, we hope to persuade some of you to get out and vote on November 8th, to have your voice be heard and represented.

Our family emigrated from Vietnam in 1991 in hope of finding freedom and a better future; a place where hope and dreams are the source of innovations and not of fear and oppression. Sadly our country did not provide us with this sense of refuge that we find here in the United States of America.

It was a challenge at first. We had to learn a new language, adapt to a new culture, socialize and work with strangers in a foreign land. The people warmly embraced us, and slowly, strangers became lifelong friends and a land, once foreign, became our beloved home. We were sworn in as citizens a few years later and vowed to protect the democratic ideas that this country stands for.

The American Dream is not guaranteed to us just by being an American citizen. There is, however, a guarantee that there is a path and an opportunity to achieve this dream for those who work hard and for those who are dedicated and determined. Our family came to the United States with just the clothes on our backs, and many years later we have produced college graduates, purchased homes, and have built businesses including Na’vi. We believe that the American Dream is still attainable today, and that this is still the land of endless opportunities today, the very same one we believed in 25 years ago.

Much of the debate over this election has been the state of the country. Our economy has not fully recovered, and there is still great divide among us on multiple domestic and foreign issues. But we did not become the leader of the free world by being divided and succumbing to challenges. We pride ourselves in our abilities to make tough compromises for the good of the people, to learn from our mistakes and be stronger in the process.

So please vote this election. Don’t take your right to vote and your voice for granted. Our family, like so many immigrant families, left our country just for this fundamental right. Educate yourself on our candidates and vote for the America that you envision for yourself and our future generations.

If you do not have the means to obtain a registration form, we at Na’vi Salon are able to print it out for you. If you prefer to register in person and do not have a source of transportation, we will gladly for Uber to take you to the closest location for you to register. On Election Day we will also pay for your Uber fee when you go out to cast your vote.
