Swipe ➡️ taper vs fade. People always gets confused between the two. There are two main types of fades, the taper and the fade. And in between are various ways of getting a fade you can go low, mid, high, shadow, dropped, and so much more that it does tend to get confusing. That is way consultation before a haircut works. Consultation are free. If you’re unsure what is what or wants to get something done and not sure I will walk you through it. I also do consultation only appointment if you’re not sure before you actually make an appointment for a haircut.

top pic had no experience with clippers or cutting hair prior to coming in and learn bottom pic had some experience cutting friends. It’s been 2-3 weeks since they first came in and already seeing improvements. Just like anything else it take practice and dedication to be good or even where you wanna be. Their coming in on their own 2-3 times a week learning and getting hands on training and guidance. With-in a month or two they will prob need little to no guidance to be on their own cutting at home or here at the shop. All you need is a little passion in whatever it is that you choose to do and it will go a long way. Trust the process as long as passion is with you the journey will lead you a road with the path you’re suppose to take.

A barber is more then just a set of clipper and a comb. We’re artist. One of the oldest profession to date. Our clippers and tools we use is our paint brush the hair and head on a person is our canvas. We visualize and envision and see what works and will not work with consultation. We paint with our clippers and creature sculptures that can make a person’s bad turn good. It’s more then just a haircut.
