Finally here to thank all who made our first Lowell SITP possible on Saturday, 7.14.18. Special thanks to the Lowell Cultural Council for supporting the arts and partially funding us for the third consecutive year. Metamovements, our partners, who support us in making this event happen; Kaitlin & Sterling for hauling the dance floor from Boston; we know it is not easy, and yet you made it happen under the circumstances. Eli, Susan and the rest of the MM Staff, you guys rock and made our night that much more fun – that Timba Line! Masterpiece Hair Studio Owner, Eddie Tunez, for being the dreamer behind this wonderful event and for keeping us on the dance floor! Mill City-Mambo for providing the class at the beginning of the night. Francois for always supporting us and providing more dance floor for our attendees. Bella Vita Dance Studio for a great performance for our audience! Our pick-up crew at the end of the night: MM, François, Dawn, Evelyn, Diego, Ani, and Wilfredo. Our parents, Hector, Vicky, Biti & sister, Zaida for caring for Gael, and fueling us at the end of the night. Our tradition of sopon continues to go strong & it truly makes us happy & gives us life…literally! YOU, our community, thank you for continuing to show up! It has been 2 weeks since our last Lowell Salsa In The Park of 2017, and we've had time to reflect on this past summer and are truly grateful for all of the love and support we received this second year. Thank you to our partners, Metamovements for your guidance and support, Lowell Cultural Council for partially funding Lowell SITP, Masterpiece Hair Studio's Owner & Mill City-Mambo's Co-Founder, Eddie Tunez for your vision and passion in bringing this event to your community, and for keeping us dancing for the evening, Mill City Mambo's Co-Founder, Susy Ismatul for keeping Lowell SITP evenings running smoothly, François Chevalier & Dawn Chevalier for your support, and setting up and sharing your second dance floor with us. Huge thank you to our performers, Leah's Chicas, Manchester for giving us a memorable performance in the rain, and Team Bella Vita for a great performance for our crowd. Our family for your support before and after the event w helping sweep and clean the park to, what now has become a tradition, fueling us w sopon at the end of the evening. Last and never least, you, our communities, who come out to dance with us, support us and contribute to making Lowell SITP amazing, successful, and memorable nights! Hasta la próxima! Los queremos!

We are a bit more rested now, after taking a couple of days off to re-charge, and of course, cannot go without mentioning our gratitude to ALL of you who made the first Lowell Salsa In The Park of 2017 a HUGE success last Saturday! You constantly remind us of how blessed we are to be part of such a wonderful and supportive community. Last Saturday was phenomenal, and truly, our hearts are SO full. Even with the rain that decided to show up an hour before the end of the night, we were unstoppable! It was fantastic to see all of you not want to go home and DANCE IN THE RAIN! 💃🌧️💜 Thank you to the following individuals who make Lowell SITP possible: Metamovements Latin Dance Company, Kaitlin & D for being our partners & support for the day, François & Dawn for the second dance floor and your help at the event, Lowell Cultural Council for partially funding this fun event, and Maxine for sharing the night w us, Mill City-Mambo, Masterpiece Hair Studio's Owner, Eddie Tunez for your vision and passion in sharing this wonderful event w your community, our fabulous and brave performers, Leah's Chicas, Manchester (Susie) for getting on stage and performing in the rain for us! You truly deserved our applause. Much love to our family for your support and making sure we are fuled w Sopon after the event. Last, but certainly never least, ALL of you who came out to support our first of the 2017 series of Lowell Salsa In The Park. This one was for the books!
