Where beauty begins with vitality & reverence.
What do your emotions have to do with your scalp?
More than most people realize.
Your scalp is not separate from your body.
It’s connected through energetic pathways called meridians- channels that link your organs, emotions, and physical health.
One of the main meridians that runs through the scalp is the Bladder Meridian.
This pathway plays a major role in the body’s ability to detoxify, regulate hydration, and maintain balance.
But it’s not just physical.
It’s also connected to emotions like Fear, Insecurity, Boundaries, and Feeling safe and supported within yourself
When these emotions are heightened or unresolved, the body can begin to shift out of balance.
And that imbalance often shows up physically.
In the scalp, this can look like Dryness, Inflammation, Sensitivity, and A lack of proper hydration or detoxification
This is why scalp care is never just about products.
It’s about supporting the body as a whole.
Your internal state…
your nervous system…
your emotional world…
They all play a role in the health of your hair.
Your body is always communicating.
The question is , are you listening?

3 reasons I use Rhassoul Clay in my Scalp Experiences 🌿
This is one of my favorite earth-based tools for restoring scalp health.
MINERAL-RICH NOURISHMENT
Rhassoul clay is naturally high in minerals like magnesium and silica.
These minerals support the hair by enhancing softness, strength, and shine; while also nourishing the scalp at a deeper level.
SUPPORTS HEALTHY HAIR GROWTH
A healthy scalp is the foundation for healthy hair.
Rhassoul clay helps support the environment needed for growth by improving scalp condition and aiding in the processes that contribute to stronger, more resilient hair.
GENTLE DETOX FOR SENSITIVE SCALPS
This clay is especially supportive for those experiencing:
Dryness
Irritation
Inflammation
Conditions like eczema or flaking
It gently draws out impurities without stripping the scalp, leaving it balanced, calm, and refreshed.
WHY THIS MATTERS
So many products focus on coating the hair…
But true transformation happens at the scalp.
When we work with ingredients from the earth , like Rhassoul clay, we’re supporting the body in a way that feels both effective and deeply nourishing.
This is the kind of care your scalp understands.

Why I love boar bristle brushing 💚
If there’s one simple habit that can shift your scalp health…
it’s this.
Boar bristle brushing is one of the most effective ways to support your scalp between wash days.
It naturally distributes your scalp’s oils (sebum) from the root down through your hair Adding softness, shine, and protection without needing extra products.
So instead of reaching for dry shampoo,
reach for your brush.
It also acts as a gentle exfoliation for the scalp.
Even if you’re not using products, your scalp still collects buildup from sweat, environmental debris, and natural oil accumulation.
Brushing regularly helps keep the follicles clear and the scalp refreshed.
And one of the most overlooked benefits…
circulation.
The rhythmic motion of brushing stimulates blood flow to the scalp and supports lymphatic movement around the hairline.
Which means you’re not just supporting your hair,
you’re supporting the environment your hair grows from.
This is what I love about simple rituals.
They work with your body.
If you’re looking for a high-quality boar bristle brush that will actually support your scalp long-term,

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"I want to work with you, but I can't afford the big treatment right now."
Friend, you do not have to start with something big or time-consuming.
There are multiple ways to begin supporting your scalp, hair, and nervous system depending on where you're at in life and what your budget allows.
The most important thing is not doing everything perfectly.
It's simply beginning.
Because healthy hair is built through consistency, not quick fixes.

Dandruff isn’t random.
And one of the most common causes…
might surprise you.
STOP SLEEPING ON WET HAIR
Even with a clean scalp, going to bed with wet hair creates the perfect environment for imbalance.
Warm.
Dark.
Moist.
This is exactly where fungus and bacteria thrive. Leading to dandruff and scalp irritation.
A SIMPLE SHIFT
If you shower at night,
make sure your scalp is fully dry before going to sleep.
Or shift to morning washes when possible.
Small habits like this make a big difference in scalp health.
IF YOUR DANDRUFF KEEPS COMING BACK
It’s time to look deeper.
Dandruff is often a signal, not just a surface issue.
WHAT YOUR SCALP MAY BE COMMUNICATING
Dry dandruff can point to inflammation
(a body in a more “fight” state)
Oily dandruff can point to hormonal imbalance, detox pathways, or nutrient issues
(a body working to regulate and clear)
A COMMON PATTERN I SEE
Increased oil production and dandruff often show up during:
Postpartum
Coming off birth control
Hormonal shifts
Bad Diet
Your body is recalibrating, and your scalp reflects that.
THIS IS WHY SCALP CARE MATTERS
Not just treating flakes…
But supporting the body, the scalp, and the environment your hair grows from.
If you’re experiencing recurring dandruff or scalp imbalance,
your body may be asking for support at the root.

6 questions I ask when clients come in with hair loss 🌿
1. What shampoo + conditioner are you using?
Many conventional shampoos contain harsh sulfates like SLS and SLES that can irritate the scalp, disrupt the skin barrier, and impact overall scalp health over time. Your scalp absorbs what you place on it. Which means your products matter more than most people realize.
2. What styling products are you using?
Many common styling products contain synthetic fragrance and other endocrine-disrupting chemicals that can interfere with hormonal balance. Dry shampoo is another big one I see often. Overuse can congest the follicles and limit the oxygenation your scalp needs for healthy growth.
3. How often are you shampooing + brushing your hair?
When people notice shedding, they often stop brushing or shampooing out of fear. But your scalp actually needs stimulation and circulation to thrive. Gentle brushing and regular cleansing help deliver nutrients to the follicles and keep buildup from accumulating.
4. Are you scalp oiling?
Scalp oiling is one of my favorite at-home rituals for supporting scalp health. The right oils can help soften buildup, support circulation, nourish the scalp with essential fatty acids and minerals, and create a healthier environment for growth. I typically recommend oiling 1–2x weekly before shampooing.
5. What does your nutrition look like?
Hair is built from protein, fats, minerals, and amino acids. If the body is undernourished, the hair often reflects it first. Chronic dieting, low protein intake, nutrient deficiencies, and highly processed foods can all impact the strength and vitality of the hair.
6. How are your stress levels?
This is one of the biggest pieces.
When the body is under chronic stress, it prioritizes survival over hair growth. Nutrients get redirected toward vital organs, inflammation rises, circulation shifts, and the scalp often begins to show it through shedding, thinning, dryness, or sensitivity.

Some of my favorite herbal scalp rinse recipes:
Recipe 1-
1Tbs Rose
1Tbs rosemary
1tbs lavender
1qt water
Recipe 2-
1Tbs Nettle
1Tbs rosemary
1Tbs sage
Recipe 3-
1Tbs Horsetail
1Tbs Marshmallow Root
1Tbs Chammonile
Directions-
Steep the herbs for 10 minutes into just below boiling water(I usually set my tea pot to 160-170°F).
Let cool to your personal preference.
When showering slowly pour the herbal rinses over your head until it is covered. (You may not need or want to use the whole quart, so save the rest in your fridge like you would a tea. Use the rest within a week. )
Massage in your herbal rinse to encourage the break up of buildup and pollutants and circulation to the scalp.
Rinse out.
I usually do not need to use conditioner after using one of these rinses.
When you are part of my yearly membership VIP group, I send you Seasonal herbal rinse recipes or scalp care rituals to support you through the season as one of your bonuses 💕
If you want a personal herbal rinse, along with a personal blueprint for your specific scalp needs, I offer both In-person and virtual Blueprint Sessions. Perfect for the woman who wants to get back in tune with her body

How to cleanse your scalp (Part 3): Hair Rinses 🌿
This is your most gentle form of cleansing.
WHAT ARE HAIR RINSES?
Hair rinses lightly refresh the scalp without stripping your natural oils.
They can be:
Herbal rinses
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) rinses
Essential oil rinses
Think of them as a reset between your deeper wash days.
WHY THEY WORK
Instead of fully cleansing the scalp like a shampoo,
rinses gently remove Light buildup, Sweat, and Environmental debris
While keeping your scalp balanced and supported.
HOW I USE THEM
I love using hair rinses between shampoo days to refresh my hair and bring my natural texture back to life.
They’re also a staple inside my scalp treatments.
One of my favorite blends is rosemary, Lavender, and rose water, supporting circulation, clarity, and gentle detoxification.
ABOUT ACV RINSES
ACV rinses are powerful.
They help break down buildup, support the scalp’s microbiome, and can be helpful for dandruff or irritation.
But here’s where most people go wrong…
THE PART PEOPLE MISS
After an ACV rinse, you still need to deeply cleanse the scalp on your next wash day.
Gently scrubbing with your fingers (or a brush) helps remove what’s been loosened.
If not…
That debris can stay on the scalp and create even more buildup over time.
THE GOAL
Support your scalp, not overwhelm it.
Hair rinses are a beautiful addition to your routine,
but they’re not meant to replace deep cleansing altogether.
It’s about balance.
