If your curls are straight at the root, frizzy on top, and only curly at the ends… this is probably why.
1. When the shape gets too heavy, the weight stretches the curl down and the root loses movement.
2.Many curly girls avoid conditioning their roots because they’re afraid of losing volume. Ironically, dehydrated roots can become frizzier, less defined, and harder to style.
3. Not intentionally styling away from the root and against gravity to encourage the natural curl pattern back to the root .
