Let's Celebrate Like it's 2008!

Hi friends,

This week marks 18 years since I began my journey as a professional hairstylist, something that somehow feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at once. What an incredible ride it has been, and I truly wouldn’t be here without all of you.

Thinking back to 2008, the year I started, I remember building my business during a time when many people were navigating financial uncertainty and being thoughtful about where they spent their money. Back then, I focused exclusively on haircuts, blowouts, and styling, and I was incredibly lucky to be surrounded by amazing guests who trusted me early on. Some of you have been with me since those days, which still humbles me.

This past year has been especially meaningful and reflective for me after the illness and passing of my mom. It’s reminded me how much connection, community, and shared moments matter- and how doing hair has always been about so much more than just hair. It’s laughter, conversations, life updates, and the relationships we’ve built together over time.

As I celebrate 18 years in this industry, I wanted to do something simple and meaningful as a thank you.

For one week only — March 1 through March 7 — I’m bringing things back to where it all began: all haircuts booked during this week will be offered at my original 2008 price of $55 (discount applied at checkout).

No catch — just a little throwback, a celebration, and a small way for me to give back during a time when many of us are being extra mindful about spending. I've also expanded my availability that week so that I can accommodate most schedules.

How's your Summer going?

I can't believe that it is August already! Summer is sure in full swing for me.

This weather has been one for the books this season. I've been loving the sunshine just about as much as my flowers in my garden are. My dahlias are thriving this year! Maybe my retirement dreams of being a flower farmer might be in my future?!?

Even though it is summer, I'm working behind the scenes today on this upcoming Fall. As you know, my schedule was a bit all over the place this summer. In Fall, you'll notice that my availability will go back to consistent hours. As always, my evening appointments are some of my most coveted times and book up quickly. Due to family obligations this Fall my evenings will be every other Tuesday and every Thursday.

Additionally, I'm currently working on my service menu and pricing (it's an always evolving process)! Keep an eye out in the next bit for an additional email detailing the changes, but just a heads up for now pricing will be increasing on September 9th. I'll be shifting back to a set price menu versus the "time on the clock" that I've been doing but honestly, it really is the same thing. Y'all know I do my best to take the best care of you and making sure that coming to the salon can fit within your beauty budget!

Now off to eat some watermelon because these darn photos are making me hungry!

Summer will be here before we know it- I am so excited for those warm, sunny days to be upon us.

Also, I can't wait to do all the summer things! Beach, BBQ's, camping, concerts and load of fun times with family and friends!

For this coming summer season, I will be equality sharing my time between the salon and fun times with my kids while they are on summer break.
