I really love working on gray transitions.

It’s not just a color service — it’s a process, and it looks different for everyone.

Some people want to take their time and ease into it.
Some are ready to make a bigger shift sooner.

We always build a plan around your comfort level, your budget, and how quickly you want to get there.

This was a 2-hour session focused on softening the grow-out and starting the blend. We’ll keep building on this over the next few appointments until she’s fully in her natural gray.

Done right, this shouldn’t feel harsh or high-maintenance — it should feel natural, intentional, and easy to live with.

If you’ve been curious about transitioning, I’m always happy to talk through options with you.

This kind of color is all about thoughtful placement.

We added soft highlights around her face and through the mids and ends, then toned everything together to keep it natural and polished. No heavy shadow root — just brightness placed in a way that blends easily as it grows.

I love creating color like this for longer hair. It looks beautiful right after the appointment, but it’s also designed to age well so it still makes sense weeks later.

When she comes back, we’ll refresh the tone and add a few new pieces if needed. I’ll share an update then so you can see how it evolves.

Beautiful hair doesn’t have to be complicated — just intentional.

23 years behind the chair. Thousands of haircuts. Countless conversations. Still grateful for every person who sits down and trusts me with their hair.

This is what low-maintenance color looks like to me.

Soft dimension, natural grow-out, and tone that holds up without constant upkeep.

Not flashy. Just thoughtful work that fits into real life.

Ideal if you want your hair to look good without thinking about it all the time.

It’s been about six weeks in the new space, and I’m honestly still a little in awe that this is real.

Moving Salon Indigo into my home wasn’t about doing more — it was about creating something that feels calmer, quieter, and more aligned with how I actually like to work. And I can feel the difference already.

Appointments feel more relaxed. Conversations feel easier. There’s less rush, more presence.

I’m really grateful — for this space, for the clients who’ve trusted me through the change, and for getting to build something that feels so me.

It’s still settling in, but I love it here.

Fashion color doesn’t have to be loud.

This is a sheer violet melt created from inspiration photos, then adjusted for real hair, real life, and a softer grow-out.

Designed to blend, fade gently, and still feel wearable weeks later.
Ideal if you like color but don’t want to babysit it.

I have the nicest clients! Thanks Elizabeth ♥️ I’m really enjoying seeing everyone in my new space and I hope you all love it as much as I do.

Still settling into the new space.
Feeling really grateful for the clients who’ve followed me here.
I’m adding a few extra comforts to January appointments — just because.

This is Indie 🦚

I adopted him years ago from a lonely Target shelf when he perfectly matched my brand and my post-Covid energy:
✨ emerging
✨ evolving
✨ emotionally ready to peacock again

He’s been with me since day one—quietly witnessing transformations, glow-ups, and the occasional bang regret.

In 2024, he got a refresh courtesy of my client Jean, not because coral was wrong, but because we evolved. And Indie evolved with us.

From Target shelf… to salon mascot… to finally landing in our forever home.

Rescued. Repainted. Permanently nested. 💙🦚
